  1. Anyone tried to fit a Tactical Innovations 25 round mag to their 10/22? I have given up on trying to get it to feed properly.
  2. My 94 is without the exterior rack. I can't decide if i want to go for a roofrack that could hold the spare, or try to find a exterior rack for the back of the car. Do you think it would be any problems installing a exterior rack on a car that originaly came without one?
  3. Thank you for all the tips! I can't find either stock or aftermarket plates here, i will try to fabricate something. Regarding fender flares, i am also looking for something that is not off a roll, it's about 45USD/meter here...and ugly. Do Bushwacker have anything that fit the Terrano / Pathfinder?
  4. Hi! I am replacing the starter motor on my 94 3.0 V6. After a lot of cursing and hard work i finally got the old starter out When replacing the starter, should there be a gasket between the new starter and bell housing? I think i saw some residues of a gasket when taking the old starter out.
  5. Hi! I am replacing the stock rear shocks on my 1994 3.0 v6 with new Rancho 5000. When i removed the old shocks, the bushings came off but the old sleeves are stuck on the bolts. Do i have to remove the old sleeves? and in that case how? The lower ones are a bit rusty on the surface. The old sleeves seems to be a bit bigger than the the ones delivered with the new shocks. Should i use the dust covers or not? Some says use them and some says don't... Tack!
  6. Hi! sorry for borrowing this thread! I have installed new rear coils on my 94 pathfinder, and upper a-frames in the front, from 4x4parts.com. That should get me 3" of lift It said in the instructions to leave .5" between the bumpstops and the a-frame. But that only gives 2" of lift. It looks a bit weird now when the rear is lifted 3" and the front 2". Can i crank the T-bars more or will it damage the front axle?
  7. Thank you for the help! I will try to get hold of one from a scrap yard, or fabricate something. Or do you know of any aftermarket parts?
  8. If someone have a picture, it would be great!
  9. So there should be a stock transfer skid? Mine seems to be missing... I thought it looked like something were missing!
  10. Hi! Is there any undercarriage protection available for the WD21? I am just finishing my 3" SL, and then i will test it off road. But it seems to me as the transfer case is very unprotected. What is your opinion regarding that? Anyone had any problems damaging the undercarriage?
  11. Hi! Is the middle console where the regulators for heat and vent are located, supposed to be luminated? Mine is not
  12. Hi again! Removed the fan clutch today and put in an electric fan. Much better! but still not reaches working temperature when driving, the needle gets to 1/3, it is about 32F outside. When idling it gets hot and the new fan turns on when the needle reaches 1/2. I put an electric thermostat on the upper hose, 92 C or 198 F. Could it cause any problems now when the front of the engine does not get constant cooling from the clutch fan? I can not find 180F water thermostat here in sweden...only 170F...???
  13. Thanks for all your replies! I thought maybe it was more popular, with its own forum and all. Great forum by the way! I have never seen a lifted Pathfinder here, maybe mine will turn some heads when done
  14. It seems as the Pathfinder is a quite popular offroad car in North America. How common is it compared to other cars for example Jeep? Here in Sweden they are (or was) quite popular SUVs, but you hardly ever see a Pathfinder go offroad. At an offroad meet the most common car would be Zuzukis, and after that the Cherokee i guess. Then Pajero, Patrol, Wrangler etc. And off course the old Swedish military truck, the Volvo TGB... Well....just curious....
  15. I just found out that the thermostat i put in is a 170 F. Is there 180 F available? Tungsten, your conversion looks complicated with the controll unit and all. Couln't i just put an electronic thermostat on one of the radiator hoses? If so, wich one, upper or lower, and what temerature should the thermostat be set on? I have found adaptors you put in between the block and radiator with threads for a thermostat.
  16. I had the same problem when i got my Terrano a few moths ago. I changed the oil to spec., and the chattering dissapeared, but it took a few days to compleetly go away. I think the new fluid has to penetrate properly in between the "friction plates" (do not know the english word) in the LSD diff.
  17. Thank's for all the replys! I will look into what thermostat i put in, and what temerature it is set for. Precice 1, had a look at the FSM, what a great document! RF600, both hoses get hot. A new fan clutch is about 460$ here, i think it is cheaper to do an electric conversion. Anyone done that?
  18. Hi Pav! No the needle never get close to midway. I have replaced the thermostat placed in the engine block, connected to a hose going to the bottom of the radiator.
  19. Hi! New on the forum! My 1994 3.0 v6 does not reach working temperature, the meter stops at 1/4. I have only had it for a couple of months, so i have only driven it in cold weather. +5 to -10 degrees celsius. I have replaced the thermostate but no difference. Also tryed a piece of board in front of the radiator, that helped some. I am thinking about replacing the clutch cooling fan to an electric. The clutch seems to have the same resistance all the time, if i understand correct the clutch should be "loose" when cold? Or could it simply be a faulty sensor? The heater/coupe gets hot, but it takes forever... Any ideas?
  20. Hi! New on the forum! Just got my first Terrano, a 1994 3.0 V6. Right now i am working on installing a 3" suspension lift, rear is done but not the front...looks and handles like crazy. Other plans: Idler arm brace Panhard drop Trying to fit 33x12,5x15 Winch Brush guard Roof rack etc. Need all the help i can get!!!
