  1. i cleaned the inside today, the guy that owned it i will call "pig pen" because that thing was trashed, but i did vacuum it got a few hours, got the corn and straw out of it, next will be the scrub down. unfortunately i cant use the carpet out of the parts truck since it caught fire on me under my feet and i would of switch dashes but after pulling them both out i broke some pieces by accident on the 93 dash so i left the 95 dash in it, i guess i will learn to like it. i got a complete tune up done to it today, and it has a nice tow hitch on it, next will eventually be speakers for it since one is cracking on me, but i have to get it inspected and it has a shake in the steering wheel but i think that is from the tires since it sat in one spot for 2 years, but over all i love this truck and want to keep it as nice as i can so i may pull out this carpet and hit it with a pressure washer and scrubber to try and clean it all up
  2. this happened with my 95 pathfinder last night, messed with the headlight plug and its been all good since, it was out and i switched the bulb with my parts truck and it stayed on im glad im not the only one with the issue
  3. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x174/TwiztidThoughtz4/pathy.jpg Finally have a pic of my truck up, needless to say since i got it on the road i have been driving it alot
  4. Oh I see, would I be able to connect the wires right to that? I would run the cable but it being set up differently I wouldn't want to mess with the ECM and end up with that nightmare. I am hoping that I will have my other one home today it's been a real pain getting these trucks home
  5. oh nice its looking promising that i can use the other dash then, but for the ac controls the one in the 95 is stuck on defrost because the lever to switch it seems to be off or broken, any ideas on that? and i am looking to get the other one home sometime today
  6. yeah it did, caught it before it was flaming but had me stumped at first, cause it looked like it was coming from under the dash from the air pushing through the hole
  7. Sadly i wont be able to use the carpet from the truck since it caught fire on me when i was driving it home tonight, and had to cut a piece of it out. I will have the other truck home tomorrow and see where i go from there kinda disappointing but there isnt much that can be done about it
  8. Where did you mount the radio? I have a galaxy dx55v I am looking to mount in my 95 I was debating inside the center console so it's tucked away safely and not seen
  9. and i will spend as much time as it takes to get this truck the way i like it, i can be bad about my vehicles that way, and when i pull the interior i will re run the speaker wires so i dont have to worry about that factory amp and also figure out where and how i am going to mount my CB in the truck, and the antenna
  10. the 93 dash doesn't have an electric speedo, but i have 2 complete trucks. i really just wish they didn't change all of that until 96 when the new body style came out, but since i have 2 trucks i dont see why i couldn't do it but i would have to switch them all over, as for the interior i was going to use the interior from the 93 since its mint and the 95 looks like a wild animal has been through it. as much as i may want to do this all now i dont think i will be able to, but of this all i really hope the columns work since the 95 had the key break off in it and the 93 is in fine, i butchered the ignition in the 95 to get the key out though, and i hope to have pics for you all soon
  11. i have paitence but to a limit, i have tinted triaxles and flat glass and it isnt as easy as it seems, my first time i destroyed the tint because it all stuck to its self, plenty of spray and an easy hand in cutting the tint with a razor makes a difference, however i am willing to pay to have it done professionally so i dont have wasted money in tint
  12. i may just do this on the pathfinder i bought, i got one for parts so i could use that hood since it isnt perfect so if i want to put it back i still got the original hood, but personally i like the marine louvers and might use aluminum pop rivets so they dont rust
  13. thank you for all the input also and i am sure to be a regular here since i have always liked the trucks, and now i have 2 but the one is for parts since it is so far gone, when i get them home i will show the rot on the one and the 95 has a clean body and frame, i dont think i paid to much for both trucks either at $1650 for the pair i think i made out pretty well. and all the help is greatly appreciated.
  14. i dont have pictures yet, and i the 93 is a lot cleaner then the 95 on the inside im switching interiors since the 95 is nasty inside, no pics yet but i will be bringing them home in a few days. so i will have pictures. but the cluster i was curious about, so i will see i think i might buy a manual to figure it out. i know its going to be some work swapping everything but if it works i want to do it i got both trucks so i have wiring to do what ever. i will look into what i can and see what i can do, i just like the square style better has that look i like. though i will have to pull the dash off of the 95 to fix the climate control since the selector is broken and it is stuck on defrosters
  15. I have 2 wd21 trucks that I am curious if I can trade dashes easily since the 93 is in better shape on the inside I would like to put it in the 95 any ideas or experience with this? Input would be great
  16. i bought 2 pathfinders today a 95 and a 93 pathfinder, the 93 is horribly rotted underneath and the 95 body is mint, so the 93 is a parts truck, i am curious how difficult it would be to change the clusters and dash in the vehicle, i kind of like the older rugged look but i dont mind either dash. any input as to if its plug and go or is a nightmare to switch them out
