1500 (fullsize) Chevy, GMC, Escalade, avalanche all need bored. Colorado/Canyon/Isuzu/Toyota will bolt right up. Steel wheels you can use 2 hole saws, 3" to locate, 4" to cut Aluminum use a router and a 1/2" rabbet bit with guide bearing. -
I have escalade 17s on my 98 2wd frontier, almost the same offset as the qx4 17s. Next up are Titan 18s. Both need the centers machined out to 4". I used a router and a 1/2" rabbit bit. Any offset questions you have about any 6 lug stock wheel have been answered here. I remember seeing something about how 96-99.5 have large/small diameter shocks and 00-04 have the opposite orientation, so you have to flip bushings or they'll install upside down.
