  7. so My pathy is acting goofy when I punch on the gas while it is in 2 wheel drive , it shifts way to early but it also acts like its bogged down , Now if I manual shift from 1st it goes quite fast and I can push it up into second and then finally drive , it works fine but it should do all this on its own in drive, but here is where im confused out on my dads dirt road , I put it in 4 High and it had the power and shifts correctly and also it did the same in 4 Low when i romped on it it shifts just fine , the problem seems to be in 2 wheel drive only , I already replaced the vaccum modulator for the transmission , so now Im at a loss on what to do . in other words from a red light it feels like its shifting straight from 1st gear to 3rd gear and than it boggs down , the pathy is an automatic by the way , any insight would be appreciated, thanks guys ( and gals )
  8. thanks for the heads up. I will make sure i try to watch out for that. I am mostly building this for cargo function as I like to go out backpacking so i wanted a grill guard that would look good but more importanly work lol, any way thanks guys I will be doing the safari rack once I get down to az if I can remember to I will to a tuturoial on it

  10. so what did this thing cost brand new? was 60 bucks a good deal for it then ?
  11. I do believe it is a bolt together as the sides the cover the headlights can come off
  12. here is the photos of the grill gaurd on the truck let me know what you think before after
  13. im no expert on brakes but it sounds like you may have worn a pad down and the shudder could be caused by the rivet on the break pad(s) grinding against your rotor. I am sure one of the more seasoned guys will chime in and they will probably have a better idea of what could be causing it , ( by the way if you havent yet head over and introduce yourself) welcome to NPORA.
  14. Update>> it is the right grill guard I had to pull the bumper to attach it and I had to fabricate a steel plate but other than that its on and looks good I will follow up with pics tonight , thanks for everyones help
