  1. Yeah we did all the rubber isolators and shiz we compeessed the springs and then put them together. I really don't want to pay a shop to fix this but I might not have a choice
  2. I just did my OME coils on sunday (with the help of a mechanic from wheeler) and now my coil springs are shifting every time i crank my tires full lock left or right. WTF did i do wrong? has anyone else had this problem? it throws my alignment off which ever way i just turned and its screwing my camber.....did i install my coils wrong?
  3. They are 150 a pair. I just finished installing them today actually. So I paid 300 for the springs and I also bought the leveling kit but I used NX4 strut spacers instead. If you want the leveling kit ill sell it to you
  4. thanks for the advice rocky2, i havent seen too many complains about coil lifts on here and 90% of people who have em recommend them. I have warn hubs already and i think they will cover up cv issues But if anyone else has had some serious issues with coil lifts id be all ears.
  5. Im planing on installing my OME coils and NX4 spacers this weekend...for those of you who have done this already do you have any tips to make the installation smoother, or something that took you a while to figure out? im kinda a novice with mechanical things ( although it seems this is very straight forward) but any sort of advice would be great!
  6. Well at the time I was runnin stock tires, keep this in mind, anywhere from 2-2.5 mpg. I had this difference for about 6 months them I put larger tires on and back down it went. I was getting almost 16 mpg and then my tires dropped it back to 14.5ish. Still great for a 4x4 pathy
  7. i can tell you from my experience an exhaust was my biggest boost in mpg....HP is minimal....CAI definitely had a bigger impact on my vehicles response and seeming hp output.
  8. So I think I've looked thru every lift thread on this site so sorry if I repeat a question here.....I have OME springs on order and want to throw them in the day I get them. My question is this, I recently replaced my struts and shocks (didn't have plans for a lift) with KYB all around, I want to know if replacing boots or mounts is recommended and will I need longer shocks as they are not longer than OEM?
  9. Year: 2002 LE lift : Stock (until next week) Wheels: Stock 6 spoke 17" Tires : 245/70/17 General Grabber AT2 NOTE: hahah 255/70/17 will not fit with stock rims
  10. I have stock LE rims and warn hubs. I just took my electric grinder and smoothed out the lip on the inside. They fit just perfectly now....just take a grinder to em!
  11. Salt lake city, I'm down with wherever, but I would prefer a southern trip. Give me a few weeks tho my ome springs are in the mail
  12. I'm not the best mechanically but I'm going to be putting a coil lift on my 02 in the next couple weeks. I've decided on old man emu coils, my question is, besides the springs and leveling kit, what else would I need? (I.e. nx4 strut spacer to level the truck, obviously this is personal opinion but if anyone has done the old man emu coils let me know!)
