this is wrong. the ignition has to advance as rpms increase or it would just fall on its face. the computer in vg30i's does advance timing.MPFI Pathfinders adjust the timing curve via the ECU off-idle. TBI Pathfinders do not. What you set it at is what it will remain at throughout the RPM range, and they also run a base timing of 12 degrees BTDC. You can advance the TBI timing to 15 degrees BTDC for some extra oomph and fuel mileage.
Timing belt interval for '98-'93 Pathfinders is 60,000 miles and 105,000 miles for '94-'95 Pathfinders. Do the cam seals while you're in there.
VG33 exhaust manifolds are also 10MM just like the Z31T studs.

yeah same i was thinking. cause if you can notice a drag then most likely you could also hear it as well. as in a whining or growling of some sort. but he never stated he could hear anything which let me think brakes or parking brake.
-
i was just curious on how it was engine braking. sounds strange. but all wheels rotate freely?
-
stuck caliper or wheel bearing failiing maybe. how are the rpms when going down hill?

right to the back of the cruise control vaccum canister on passenger firewall

no problem!

just buy the round one with the 4-way flat end and plug it in to your existing 4-way. green-right signal. brown-tailight. yellow-left signal. white-ground.
-
the one closest to the fire wall goes to the air cleaner housing. the other in front of it goees to egr valve. the first pic is for cruise control and to air cleaner.

never had this issue with my 87 hb. but i also maintained it alot. i used the egr valve from my hb and it was nice and clean. i just wasnt sure how common it was.
-
its fixed. the egr port was clogged where it meets with the mixture heater plate. not much room in there at all. bad design. ignition code has vanished too. strange.
-
new coil, resistor, egr valve and hoses. also egr solenoid. im thinking i have more crud in the egr line and intake. it was very gummed up.
-
yeah its driving me nuts. ive done all checks per fsm and everything checks out good. after a day they both come back.
-
anyone had these two codes pop up together consistantly on a cali emissions pathy? im having trouble tracking down the problem after these parts have been replaced. the codes just keep coming back.
-
yes change fuel filter. check intake gaskets for leaks. that will make it lean and hence the dying and poor performance.
need some help please
in 86.5-89 WD21 Pathfinders

real easy to adjust. just follow the steps in fsm.
