hey whats up gotta 01 pathy with 141,000 its time for a oil change and i was thinking about going synthetic. i know some of you have probably done this. Is there anything specific that i need to do short of draining old oil and changing filter. also has anyone had any problems from their pathy from switching to synthetic. one last question. is royal purple good any other suggestions thanks

I had the same problem. I started out by replacing the plugs. during the summer it ran fine no problems but as soon as it got cooler problems came back. My codes were p1320 and p0305 so then all i did was replace the cylinder 5 coil and no have had no problems. But remember cylinder coils 2-6 are the same but the number 1 cylinder is different. but if you replace the coil you should be fine. as for the codes with the o2 sensor i dunno

well i'm not absolutely positive but if i remember right the switch for the dome light is in the rear latch. when the hatch is open and the light is off try taking a screwdriver and wiggling the latch some and the light should come on. if thats the case take off that inside panel by taking out the two screws in the handle and then pop off the panel( make sure to use a trim tool its really easy that way) and the switch should be in there.

right now on my 01 r50 i have 255/65/r16 does anyone know if i can put 265/75/r16 on it without rub

i know that they make a supercharger for the 3.3 engine for the frontier. does anyone know if it is possible to put that same supercharger on a 3.5 for an 01 pathy

ive looked on line and for a 2001 pathfinder it says the tank size is 21 gallons but when i run it to where the needle is under the e mark it still everytime fills up around 18 gallons. does anyone know the true gas tank capacity. thanks

i have an 01 le are there any hid conversion kits available. well let me refraise that i know there are kits out there but is there one specific one i would need. also do i have to completly rewire everything or will the balasts plug into the socket. would i need new headlight housings.

its an 01 with 116,000 it was my dads company car. i'm figuring this weekend ill replace that coilpack and see if that does it. i hope it does becuse its anoying as hell

ok like i said i got those 2 codes. well i replaced the spark plug and that didnt fix it. every now and then the ses light will flash and thats when i can feel the misfire and real bad engine performance. but other times the light just stays on and everything runs fine. has anyone else had this problem. one of the only other things that i could think that it could be is the coil for that cylinder. can anyone please help.

ok i got the codes read and this is what i got P0305 misfire on cylinder 5 then a P1320 but the misfire doesnt do it al the time its just a for a little bit. i bought new spark plug for that cylinder but havent put it in yet. after i get it in then we will see any suggestions or has anyone had this problem.

i saw a thread a while back but couldnt find it again. anyway every few starts i get the sos light ( especially when its cold) and theres a rough vibration like its misfiring but as soon as the engine warms up it goes away has anyone had this problem with their 01 pathy
