My front tires on my 95 pathy are wearing out.Guess best way to say it is they are leaning in and wearing out the inside tread. I have little play in steering wheel but no vibration. Trucks ride good but not sure what is making tire wear out like it is. Also truck rides straight and alignment not a problem. Do you think it may be the ball joints? And how hard is it to replace the ball joints? I know how to work with wrenches but always nervous about working on my own car. I just spent $2000 on tranny so I need to do this cheap.. If I did pay a mechanic what sounds like a good price to pay someone to do it?

I have the same thing with my seals. I thought I was the only one with the seal cut,I thought the guy I bought my truck from did it. Mine is on both front windows, close to the side mirrors. I have the noise problem and I put a small piece of foam in the seal that cut and it cuts my wind noise down.

Never ever run a new transmission on an old stock cooler. I am getting tranny repaired and mechanic says he always put a new cooler on. Thanks for letting me know about that.

Well I broke down and got a small loan for the tranny. Its going to cost $2000. He is rebuilding it and I told him that the forum says that I should put a new tranny cooler on. He says he is going to rebuild it like it was new and he always puts a new cooler on. I hope it works. If I can I am going to take picture of the bad part. I drove my pathy for two weeks after I lost reverse, then last night it had a whining noise, I asked him about it and he said it was losing tranny oil pressure.

Well as you know I lost reverse. I took it to a friend who changed the tranny oil and he looked at the magnet and had small metal pieces on it. He said he thinks its maybe reverse sprage not sure if that how or what he called it. He said I need to find a refurb tranny. Anyone know of where I can find a good place to buy one. Or should I look at a junk yard. Any thing will help guys thanks. (Also do I have to find a tranny from a 95 or can I put a newer model on my 95)

Need help or advice on what to do. Long story short went somewhere and parked. Tried to go reverse and Bam nothing happens. It feels like it now is in neutral and reverse light does come on. Just need advice if there is an easy fix or am I going to have to pay big bucks to get the tranny repaired. I am poor so any easy fix will really help. I am new to this site and I am glad I found it online. There are alot of stuff I want to do to my PF after reading alot of info on here. Thanks 1995 Auto V-6
