  1. Good eye TME...those are already cut off...had one of the guys at a local 4x4 shop weld those on because I've been so busy working...long story short. thats not the only thing he F up...just waiting for the new ones to get in...I was using the factory uppers for the rear but now I am going to make a custom upper mounts so I can move the shocks up higher and angle them in a little more...

  2. Well I was going to ask why you went with leaf springs in the rear but then I saw how damn tall you plan on having this thing sit. What size of tires are those? You're going to have to run those ugly ass trucker mud flaps now! Unless Oregon changed their laws? Last time I checked your tires couldn't stick out past the fenders and mud flaps are a must if your truck was lifted.

this will be about 3 to 4 inches shorter...looks way tall...

you can get away with fender flares instead of using those ugly flaps

  3. Darnit... I wish i would have caught you before that hanger got welded home. It should only be tacked on to begin with. That way if your shackle angle is jacked up that crossmember can be moved easily in order to fine tune the problem. Looks good so far!!!

I agree with GrandpaX. Not that you did anything wrong by welding it up. I've taken that chance many of times myself even after I learned the hard way not to do that. When dealing with suspension or chassis fabrication it's always better to assemble the whole thing with spot welds when possible. Once everything is finished and you know it works tear it down and finish weld the whole thing.

    face palm...lol

We did take a lot of measurements and mocked up the axle and springs before completely welding it up the hanger...but now that i think about it...i should have waited for everything being at complete mock...
