  1. ... the reason for my pull? I was reading that the earlier models use a Panhard drop down bracket to level out the 5th control arm. I looked and mine is at an angle like theirs were before the bracket install. Anyone done this? Know where to get one?

  2. My R50 pulls to the right...

I changed the bushings and on my final control arm (upper passenger side) I noticed the control arm couldn't mount evenly without me moving the axle. Is the panhard axle drop what is needed to FINALLY fix my rig???

  3. I'm in the same boat as the OP, but I can't afford a newer rig yet. I'm getting to the point where I need to drop some more serious coin to keep my r50 alive and prevent further problems. I've narrowed my "newer rig" to a '10 Xterra or an '08-09 FJ. I'm just hoping my truck will get me through this summer.

I had a 2000 Xterra several years back, and I HATED it for off roading! It was gutless, and I broke the computer in the dash wheeling (so I had no speedo, no odometer, no temp gauge). I only had the truck for about 2 months and I dented the oil pan MAJORILY too. I took it into the dealership and traded her!

  4. ... first, I want to say I STOKED that we are on Taptalk now (we weren't last year when I found NPORA). second, I found out that we are on taptalk last night so I added us to my "favorites." However, when I view a thread it'll show there being "12 posts" but I will only be able to a couple of them. Anyone else have this problem?

  5. ... I can't wait to get them and put them in next week! I'm sick of the death wobble/ pulling and can't wait to get them fixed. My SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on yesterday which is what kicked my butt to get them ordered. My "knock sensors" are bad... $150 for the part so, I'll be waiting. I turned off the light and am hoping for it to not return LOL
