  1. T-bar it was. Thanks very much.
  2. Cool. Will get after it tomorrow and report back. Thanks!
  3. 92 SE 4WD. Clearance above the left front tire (measured from plastic wheel well trim) is about 1". Clearance over the right front tire is about 2". Steering pulling slightly to the left. Torsion bar out of adjustment? Left front shock lost its gas? (original front shocks). Something else? Thanks for any advice.
  4. Yes, two 55w bulbs. Will trace out and look for the problem. Thanks.
  5. OEM fogs on 92 SE. A while back, found the blown 15A fuse. Replaced it, and put in some new bulbs, cleaned up contacts at the lights, etc. for good measure. Ran the lights for an evening. Flipped them on and off a few times. Everything fine. Day or two later, go to flip them on, the fuse blows again. Replaced. Flip on, fuse blows again. Lather, rinse, repeat.... Where should I start looking for problems? Switch? Ground at bulbs? Relay? Thanks for any suggestions.
  6. Found the fuse. Blown 15A all by its lonesome behind the battery as was suggested. How simple was that? Thanks for the help.
  7. Ok, traced the fog wires back to a Bosch 0332014150 relay. (5-pin 12v 30A). On the firewall, passenger side. Couldn't find a fuse anywhere between the lights and the relay. There is a cluster of stuff tied to the positive battery terminal, well-taped, etc. Hard to trace out due to lots of plastic shielding, the tape, etc. Should I just replace the relay and see what happens, or keep trying to find a fuse? Gotta be around there somewhere, right?
  8. My fogs are under the bumper, rather than in it. Will trace out the wires over the weekend and see where I end up. Probably should have done this before posting (duh), but just assumed I'd end up in a wiring harness/junction or something that would be hard to fathom from there. Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the ideas. Work would be done by the one guy I trust with the truck. He hasn't welded anything for me, but his other work is excellent. Unfortunately, the truck has required a whole bunch of work this year (brakes, clutch, shocks, tires), and right now we're nearly tapped out. Welding is intended to be at the least a stopgap, and potentially longer-term fix. Roaring around town as I am now can't go on much longer.
  10. Seem to have a crack in an exhaust manifold. Can this be welded effectively or am I better off replacing the manifold? Thanks for any insight or experiences. It's a 1992 SE 4WD.
  11. Wow, great resource here. Kudos to the regulars and moderators. Mind if I ride along on this thread? I have essentially the same issue: OEM fogs stopped working. Can't find the fuse or the relay. 1992 SE 4WD. Sounds like I should first check for a blown fuse, then relay operation. No strict location for either of these even though it's OEM? Thanks.
