  1. When i did up the brakeing system on my TD2.7T i started at the wheel the fertherest away from the brake master cyl and worked my way forward and to date i have had no problems with it at all.

  3. Im useing 1997 toyota surf rims on my TD2.7T Terrano/Pathy running 32x11.5s Goodyear MT
  4. fumigate it with Propane you can get up to 40% more grunt out of a diesel that way
  5. Dave how much with out the anodiseing on the glass hinges for 2 sets sent to NZL i may as well do both Terranos b4 the crap out again
  6. Since reading all of this im gald ive got a TD 2.7T this way it may not have the grunt of a V6 but hang it sure has the torque when needed. If its of any use i have the V6 service manual here on CD pm me with a google e mail addy if you would like a copy of it. I said a google account because they will accept e mails of up to 10 gig with no worrys 99% of other accounts just bounce it..

  8. Because while you are up stream washing your 4x4 the soap suds are going down stream so the mrs can do laundry
  9. Its easy to up the HP on a TD2.7 (or any diesel) fumigate with LPG/PROPANE but u gotta be careful not to give to much or you will get the big bang out of them
  10. Ive been running my Terrano/Pathy TD 2.7 on a mix of LPG n Diesel now for the past 2 years n it goes real good it has a lot more grunt than the std TD2.7. THE ONE THING WHEN useing LPG is adjust it so it just starts to ping then back it off as the pinging is telling you you are giveing it way to much LPG. ( this is a stop start situation of trial and error) The other big thing is have it set up so that when ideling the LPG gets turned off other wise it will idle real rough
  11. Hi guys i have here workshop manuels for the TD2.7,2.4 diesel and the 3.0 motors it also includes a large amount of exploded views and internal exploded views. These are for the WD21 Models. Can anyone suggest a site where i can place them so you can all down load them at anytime you want to or if your e mail provider has given you a lot of gig i could send them off to you.   12. :coffee!: Sure as hang do travel with dogs last time we took the Terrano out we had 10 dogs (9 Longcoat Chihuahuas n 1 Affenpinser) in the cab with us and six in the tralier(Alaskan Malamutes) so i guess you could say we do lol. I have here two service manuels that are on disc one TD2.7 has basic info on it but the other has some real good info and expolded pics of most everything BUT it only covers the smaller diesel motors it dose cover the V6 motor in detail along with just about every thing else you need to know to fix up your Terrano/Pathfinder. After many hours of trying to find out why i couldnt get any more than 3500RPM put of my TD2.7 Mistral/Terano 11 changeing all the nessary filters even ran a pod type air filter i was told by a ford mechanic about the injecter pump on the new Transits haveing a very fine filter under the inlet pipe on the top of the pump n by undoing the banjo fitting watch u dont lose the 2 copper gaskets insert a ball pen into the opening u will retrive a spring reinsert the pen and u will pull out a very fine filter mine was so cloged up with gunk it wasnt funny cleaned it out n now it pulls up to an past the red line ifn i was to push it real hard and hills that it would change down on it now will go up increaseing speed all the way hope this bit of info helps some of u out Cheers Gary :gossip:
