  1. When i did up the brakeing system on my TD2.7T i started at the wheel the fertherest away from the brake master cyl and worked my way forward and to date i have had no problems with it at all.
  2. As you look at the pic you have in the other thread the R/H hose go's to the top pipe being the inlet pipe and of cause the L/H one go's to the bottom one. I have a basic type workshop manual here for the TD2.7T if you want me to e mail you a copy. I also have one here for the V6 as well which comes in handy when doing a lot of things on the TD2.7T .Gary [email="longnitemals@gmail.com
  3. i have been thinkig about the ratios and i am guessing you have a V6 pathfinder mine is a TD 2.7T so the ratios would be different but i will have a look around
  4. Sweet as thanks i will start looking for one this side of the pond n let you know how it goes when im doing it all
  5. Has anyone in the forum fitted a skyline or a 25DET rear diff itno the front of a TD2.7 and if so what probs did you have
  6. looking for mud

  7. Welcome home n back on the message board Gary
  8. Im useing 1997 toyota surf rims on my TD2.7T Terrano/Pathy running 32x11.5s Goodyear MT
  9. Looks like a great wagon but i wouldnt buy it because its green lol
  10. If you head out North west of dorkland you will find River Head and Wood hill forests theres a 4x4 track in there and a lot of the guys in the ORE web site go out there to play you mite be able to hook up with someone heading out to play on the weekends.
  11. Or another way to strengthen up the r/h idler etc have a look at this http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=21520 you mite like to look at this site www.offroadexpress.co.nz theres a lot of us there that run TD2.7T nissans in the nissan section. I also have the nessary info here to lock up the torque converter if you also want it.
  12. If you pm me with a e mail addy i will send you the service manual have here on disc for the TD2.7T which will cover most of what you asked about serviceing the TD2.7T. My one gets dunked in creeks n rivers often and so far no worrys at all. The weak link is the steering idler on the l/h side but these can be improved a great deal from most good 4x4 shops. As for the big exaust system you need to take that from the turbo end all the way through to the rear of the 4x4. by doing it that way you will find a decent increase in power and better MPG. On my one i have done it plus i also fumigate it with propane which gives me approx 30-40% more power. As for off road work i find it more than capable of doing it but haveing put an intercooler on it it dose have a bit of turbo lag but you can work around it you will find the tourqe of a diesel motor will over come some of the worrys you have when wheeling in the forests etc. Have a look here www.japan-partner.com i got my Mistral /Terrano 11/Ford Maverick from here and it cost me $7000.oo NZ dollars landed they have pages for the US/Canada which gives you all the info you need to import one yourself. Hope it all helps you out Gary
  13. fumigate it with Propane you can get up to 40% more grunt out of a diesel that way
  14. Dave how much with out the anodiseing on the glass hinges for 2 sets sent to NZL i may as well do both Terranos b4 the crap out again
  15. Fumigate it with LPG you can get up to 40% more power but its a fine line between go n blow so be careful if you want the link as to how to do it let me know n il will post it up 4 you.
