    Hi, was wondering if you had this done - pics? I'm in the same boat debating both. I already have a SL (2.5 at front / 3 at rear) Thinking about a 2" BL, as I'm going continue with 31s and change the rims for more BS. Thanks, Dan.

    Did 600km (372 mi) on a tank this summer - half hiway and the other paved 2 lanes. Was on fumes pulling into the driveway, not bad while running 31" BFG KM2s.

    Thanks for the bump / thought of that when looking at the tread pattern. My experience does relate to the older model. All the best with the purchase.

    When I swapped out the UCAs I went with NAPA upper ball joints (similiar to Moog/lifetime warranty.) Lowers are still solid / no play. I will probably go with NAPA again for new inner/outer tie rods and adjustors, when needed.

    I had them as OEM on two previous trucks and didn't have any complaints with them. On both vehicles they did well in all 4 seasons; though not particularily good in deep mud etc. they were good in the snow, trail running and quiet on the hiway / no issues with hydroplaning. Both had good tread life and I swapped them out both times after 50,000 miles for the Bridgestone AT Revo 2 and BFG AT KOs. IMO solid good all round tire for the $$.

    Really / nice to know. I've had a few trucks, enough to be aware already of that little nugget. I believe it's a matter of personal preference. This is not my DD and the smile on my kids face and Dad is all I need. All the best.

    Those are the best ones. A guy few roads over who used to fix/rebuild logging truck frames, has his own small shop and is available for fabrication.
