  1. I have been checking with my local dealer and they say there is no such recall in Canada, yet with my Vin#. So i called Nissan Canada, and they said there definetely was a recall on the strut mount rusting and possibly the strut moving compromising the steering ( my steering has gotten VERY stiff lately). The said the reason that the dealer could not see it in their system is because it was only showing on updated accounts. I bought my 1998 pathy used and Nissan Canada had no account on ME.. so they set one up right there and notified the local dealer and set up an appointment for me to get this checked.
  2. constructed and installed my custom cold air intake. Tommorrow is the Soft 8 rims with 3.75 back spacing so the 31's don't rub.
  3. Spoke to my Local dealer here in Nova Scotia today. They say they are not aware of any such recall here YET. When I told them what I read, they seemed dumb founded?!
  4. Sharks with friggin laser beams on their heads?
  5. put in Xzenon bulbs, super whites, took my 1.5" wheel spacers out because they were causing vibration, ordered a new set of soft 8 black steel wheels with the 4" offset to replace the spacers. thinking of fabbing up some rock sliders.
  6. yeah what you guys are saying makes sense. My standard bottle jack crapped out and I needed a replacement. So i was in the store looking at jacks when the guy behind the counter tells me they have 48" hi lift jacks on for 40 bucks ( regular 120) and I remembered all the guys I used to hang with in high school having them for their jeeps.... so yup, got the hi lift. Anyways, not sure what i'll do for now, but a TAG bumper is in my future as well as side rock sliders.
  7. Hey guys, bought a hi lift jack today, never used one before and am wondering where to use as lift points? I have a stock 98 LE ( no big bumpers or side sliders or nerf bars) is it possible to use without destroying my rockers? thanks for the knowledge.
  8. i want it to stop snowing so I can work on the pathy.. man I NEED a garage.

  9. Today I replaced the &*&^&)*^$ing arm that goes from the wiper motor to the wipers on my R50. I put 1.5" wheel spacers on so my 31's don't rub. I replaced the fuel line from the filter to the engine, replaced drivers front sway link, undercoated the truck, and purchased a high lifter jack to make it easier to change the tires. Tomorrow I am coating the rusty bumper with liquid bed liner. Oh and put waaaaaay to much fuel in it.
  10. be worth trying your other tires to see if it is the tires, or even just switch them front to back.
  11. I have a 1998 with the "death Wobble" twice. First time it was the lower control arm rear bushings, both sides. replaced them and all ok for a bit, then it came back about 3 weeks later. i could not figure it out at all, I got everything from suspension to alignment checked. all good. wheel bearings tight etc. I put the from wheels on the balancer and AHA! broken belt in the left front tire. Made is all go squirmy and shake like a bugger at any speed above 25km/h. Replaced tire and all is smoooooth.
  12. hi guys, in your opinion, what are the best plugs and wires to use in a 1998 SE? whats going to give me the best for the money? Also looking at adding a cold air intake, who has one and what kind? Universal fit or custom? what works best? thanks for the info.
