  1. HOLY F U C TO THE K! LOOK AT THIS $H!T!!! I don't have access to an impact yet but, today I decided to go ahead and remove the top TB cover. I'm rubbing my temples over this one. What gives?
  2. Have you already checked the fuses under the driver side dash? Turn on the lights and check out if the tail lights are on. The dash lights are usually tied in with the tail lights (not brake lights) and will not be on if the fuse is blown. The rear 12v fuse is located under the hood right behind the battery ... might want to check there as well.
  3. This makes perfect sense with the lower TB cover being loose.
  4. Sire it's not just some leaf debris in the blower housing? *edit. ... Sire? Really? 'Cmon auto correct!
  5. Forgot to ask ... Is it at all possible for the belt to jump just one of the cams?
  6. Thank you for the feedback Mario. We just rolled the truck off of the trailer. I've had a CEL for over a year now (O2 sensor) but, I guess that would make sense to read it again. I did have the flashing CEL Which indicated a misfire.
  7. I still believe the timing jumped. I have read the "How to" thread on the TB change and have removed everything up to the crank pully. I recall hearing a slight noise when the TB was changed a few months ago (which got quieter as time went on). I have yet to remove the TB covers but, have already noticed that the bottom bolt that closes up the bottom cover is missing. There is an obvious gap which kind of has me freeked out. Also, there is a lot of dried up mud in that area as well. I'll post some pics in the next day or so as I find some time to open it up and inspect the belt itself. Is it possible for the belt to jump if it gets wet? I can see if enough grit got in between the teeth and the belt but, what about water?
  8. VTC solenoids huh? I'll have to look that one up before we open her up. *edit ... I forgot to mention that it is a new belt (less than 5k on it)
  9. While I'm absolutely sure that "we'll" all chime in with what "we're" running, I'm going to boast my Rancho RS5000's. No problems whatsoever!
  10. Alrighty then. Today (with a friends help) I determined that some how my timing jumped. After checking for spark, we advanced the distributor and got her to "vroom". She sounds like she has an awful cold but, knowing that the timing is off we are going to remove the TB and re-adjust every thing. Now I'm wondering how in the hell the timing could jump like that? I'll take pics when we get around to it in a couple of weeks to see if mud/grit got in the timing belt.
  11. What was the donor vehicle? And yes, you will have the biggest caR in PA!
  12. Thank you. I've been aiming towards this "phenomena".
  13. I'm still curious as to why the speakers are not working properly. I get the failed illumination (inside and out) but, for the radio to fail has to either be an issue with the head unit or an improper ground somewhere?
  14. Very strange indeed. It has to be related to your deck if you are having speaker issues. It could be a relay issue. Have you tried toggleing (spl?) your roof mounted lights on/off? If your deck has an illumination wire, try disconnecting it as you may have some sort of weird "feedback" going on. Please keep us updated on this gremlin. *edit ... For the fact of your head unit, try disconnecting it entirely from ALL wire harnesses and reattempt the regular functions with your lights.
  15. Nope. I really haven't had a lot of time to play with it. I did replace my distributor cap and ignition rotor (neither of which remedied my problem). I can smell fuel which leads me to believe that I'm getting no spark. Gonna' pull some plugs with the help of a friend and check for little bolts of lightning. 'Till then, I'm chilling around town topless in the Miata!
  16. Yes. Welcome to the family neighbor! It seems that you have been searching the forums by the questions that you ask. This is where I learned the basics for my suspension lift.
  17. Yep. I only lock mine in when I'm at the trail head right before I "hit the hole". With the hubs locked, it is just like having the factory set up.
  18. Same problem here and I don't hear my pumps when I try. I've checked the fuses and they appear to be good. Where the H. E. double hockey sticks are the pumps? You know what, I'll wait to solve this problem after I've solved my mud sick VG33.
  19. RS5000 compared to the McPherson (stock) rear shock.
  20. Snow on the ground in August? Those are great pics. I need to get to Colorado sometime as we don't have anyting like that scenery in the SE.
  21. Те - очень хорошие фотографии!
  22. You probably have as much (none at all) rust as I have. I can't get over some of these pics you guys are putting up in this thread!
