Yeah, that is how mine is mounted. The factory rubber strip covers my acrylic bug shield mounting points. If the hood is difficult to close, simply turn the two large rubber hood stops a couple of turns clockwise (tighten them down) to make up for the extra cushion.

I waited a while before I mounted my 1" aluminum NX4 spacer. While I'm sure no one else would notice the difference, I was happy witht he height difference.

I forgot to ask if you had noticed the lack of strut "top out" while cruising over bumps. It goes away as the springs settle.

Yes. I lost about an inch on all four corners. Funny thing, I too recently got a new tablet. It makes me look like I'm posting drunk while I'm perfectly sober.

Nice! We call that "ambush" in our house. Both Peaty and Chiana play the game. Peat is better at the attack but, Chiana is catching on. That is awesome ... just shared that with the wife.
