Putting specific models down doesn't help, I for one have never even seen some of the lights listed much less seen the light they produce.
When choosing lights, go with what you like, what will last and what will give you the light output you need for what you intend to use the lights for. Light pattern is key! Fog lights put out a wide, horizontal beam in front of you, driving lights put out a small spot of light that shines further ahead.
The 85W = 100W statement is a sales pitch. 85W = 85W.
They come with a relay that is fused insideSeriously? I've never seen a relay with a fuse inside.
All that aside, I've always liked PIAAs, always used PIAAs, but I've seen some crazy amounts of light coming from KC's, Pro-Comps, Hellas, Lightforce, etc...I'd own a set of Lightforce lights...adjustable focus, interchangeable lenses, mmmmmmm.

Also, lifting the front suspension does not result in more travel, thus stock-length shocks should be used in the front while longer rear shocks can be used with a disconnected sway bar for more rear axle travel without any problems.

War hero helps nab suspects in dog killingLabrador retriever had been given to him to help heal after Afghan combat
HUNTSVILLE, Texas - A highly decorated Navy SEAL who found his beloved yellow Labrador retriever shot dead outside his home helped capture the alleged gunmen following a high-speed chase through three counties.
Marcus Luttrell stayed on the line with a 911 operator as he tried to catch the fleeing suspects during the 40-mile chase that reached speeds of over 100 mph.
"I told them, 'You need to get somebody out here because if I catch them I'm going to kill them,'" Luttrell said he told the operator, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Police stopped the three suspects and charged two men with cruelty to a non-livestock animal. The driver of the vehicle was cited for not having a license.
There are at least five area dog killings in recent months that could be linked to the case, said Texas Ranger Steven Jeter.
Lone survivor of Taliban attack
Luttrell was awarded the Navy Cross for combat heroism in 2006. He is the lone SEAL team member to survive a June 2005 firefight with the Taliban in Afghanistan and was given a puppy to help him heal after he returned from the war. He named it Dasy as an acronym for his SEAL team members lost in that battle.
Luttrell told the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday that he had heard a gunshot on the night of April 1, checked on his mom inside the house and then went outside where he saw Dasy.
"I could tell she tried to get away because there was a blood trail," Luttrell said. "When I saw she was dead, the only thing that popped into my head was, 'I’ve got to take these guys out.'"
Luttrell was recovering from surgery, but when he spotted a suspicious car parked nearby, he crawled under a fence and snuck up on the strangers, aiming a 9mm pistol at them from about 25 yards away.
He didn't fire, however, and as the car left, he ran to his pickup and launched the high-speed chase. His pickup couldn't keep up with the car, but police eventually stopped the suspects.
Luttrell said he confronted the men. "I was like, 'Which one of you guys killed my dog?'" he said. "They started talking smack."
"I did everything right; I didn’t do anything wrong," he said. "Make sure everyone knows they cold-bloodily murdered."
Now in 'middle of nowhere'
"Marcus is trained to do certain things; he fell back on his training," Jeter, the Texas Ranger, said, adding, "I wouldn’t advocate to the general public to do what he has done — to follow them at that rate of speed."
In his phone interview, Luttrell said he had left his Huntsville home and was in "the middle of nowhere."
He added that Dasy's killing was a huge setback in his life.
"I was trying to talk myself out of being who I am," he told the Chronicle. "Talking to myself about not doing the one thing I am good at."
Who the EFF goes around shooting random people's dogs??

There are some WD21's that have no CEL. Dunno what years or models, but I've seen the back side of the dash from someone on AC's forum that had no CEL, the spot where the CEL would be was all blacked out.

Also try cleaning the MAF sensor, check for broken or loose vacuum lines, and check the wiring plug for the MAF sensor, sometimes it hits the underside of the hood and causes an intermittent connection at the MAF.

You're right. But, the back fog always seems much brighter and more neon [if I can use that term]. I don't know why that is though. The back fog is a legal requirement in the UK but doesn't appear to be in Oz [where my car is from]. Maybe intl car makers assume Australia doesn't get fog?
Yeah, requirements for lighting in different countries are strange sometimes. Not one car in the US I've ever seen besides a VW Beetle or Karmann Ghia have any rear fog lights.

You don't want 16.5" tires, man. I seriously doubt you'll be able to find wheels to go with them that will fit the Pathy unless they come with some Chevy 6-lug wheels. Most 16.5's are 8-lug AFAIK. A tire shop will NOT install 16.5 tires on 17" wheels, sorry.

Ugh...reminds me of the time I lost a whole Yakima rack setup off the roof of my old Datsun 210. Someone came by and used a damn screwdriver to pry the rack clips off and took it all.
Bottom line: make it secure so nobody will think to themselves, "That looks really easy to take off", coz they'll try it when you least expect it.

The sport/touring switch changes the valving inside the original adjustable shocks. The sport setting makes the shocks stiffer and the touring setting makes the shocks softer.

Unplug the dimmer switch and see if it still does it.

If the keys are close or the locks are old and sloppy, then most any key will work. I've opened numerous junkyard Nissans and Yotas with just a pocketknife blade. My Pathy key has opened two other Nissans, a Pathy and a HB pickup.

Problem with bolt-on supercharger kits is they give minimal power gains and cost a butt-ton. There was a company called Alpine (I think) that produced a R50 SC kit but it was something like $3000-$4000 and it gave up something like 25-40 HP IIRC.
There's just no aftermarket love for Pathfinders unless you have a huge amount of cash to drop on it.

Could be a shift solenoid sticking, replacement requires buying a complete solenoid pack from the stealership and taking off the pan (possibly the valvebody?)

Ouch, damn. That sucks. That's one of the few broken piston rings I've heard of so far.

They're made like that. Don't ask me why...

Do you mean that the t-case shifter doesn't move or that it doesn't move at all in 4WD? I'd jack it up and get underneath with a flashlight and take a look at the shifter from underneath, maybe it's been damaged somehow. That's on the driver's side.

I used a couple of ratchet straps on mine when I had a spare on the roof. Just remember that even a 31" tire and wheel is pretty heavy.

Excellent man! Glad you could get 'er going again.

Good job on getting it figured out!

Damn, that's a good mystery. Where's Scooby-Doo and the gang when you need 'em?
About the only other thing I can think of that would lower compression across the board is a broken t-belt not turning the cams, or broken cams. Or a slipped timing belt. Check and see if #1 at TDC lines up the distributor rotor correctly?

The timing belt on a 94 should be changed every 105,000 miles.

I think the vaporization effect is pretty minimal, even considering the internal volume of the tank.

Sometimes the gear inside the speed sensor strips out which renders it useless. I wonder if the shop even did the service and really replaced the switch...it's notoriously hard to get to and remove. They also could have left the wiring unplugged...
