  1. it makes more turns. the first time i started it today while cold with a brand new battery and it took one turn and it started right up (turn start). nice and strong. then after taking a little drive i tried starting it up while warm and it kinda did the usual (turn turn turn start). i didn't understand why it did that i was hoping for some answers. my remote start used to start the truck because the truck used to start (turn start) Then my old batt started to die and and wouldnt take charge and the start turned into (turn turn turn start) i hope u guys understand and by "turn" i mean the engine turning. NOT me turning the key.
  2. old batt was corroded. but needed to be changed since like forever. new one i got today. no corrosion. tightened just fine it seemed.
  3. My truck has been needing a new batt. i got a brand new 800 crank batt today. the first time it started right up from being parked for a 24+ hours. it was a kinda VROOM!! done started. first turn and it started right up. then i drove to the store and the truck was all nice and warmed up. when i started it up it was a kinda or vrvrvroom!! like it turned twice before firing up. not sure why it happens. I searched to no avail on the forums. help please. also the remote start used to work and start her in the dead of winter cold. now she wont turn over in summer warmed up...im confused.

  14. Its turning on the power system. When its in auto it changes between normal and power transmission revvs. Whenhe light is on the e-at is on.
  15. Thanks nunya. I figured all the others were pretty obvious. Mirrors. Cruise control. E-AT makes no sence whatsoever tho.
  16. Copy and pasted. This is what it is for. Google helped When the Power light comes on(if applicable) the transmission control unit c if you floor it, as that would indicate a need for quicker acceleration. All it do on, it will shift like that all the time until you turn the switch off.
  17. Can't always be right. I do applaud your superiority tho.
  18. The transmission switch is whatnim talking about. Explain it to me. What exactly is its purpose and what does it do?
  19. OR MISSING? That wouldnt be good at all.
  20. Yes i FORD, LOL. regardless he knows enough when it comes to pathfinders. I ment do you have a picture of where this is exactly?
  21. Thanks. Gunna spend some time reading it soon. Motor is revving too. Gas is the only problem in the dash currently. Thanks for the info. Will be reading the link soon. We have had 2 pathys b4 mine. a 88 and a 92. He also rebuilt the engine in his ford. He also loves to mess around with engines and stuff. He is not a certified mechanic and im pretty sure not a tranny specialist but he knows his stuff. Huh? picture location? fuel pressure regulator you say. Back of intake manifold you say. Can you explain the location of such a thing as if i had the IQ of Kyle. Good idea. I will get right on it...as soon as I get some money. LOL
  22. No..I guess I should run the codes..if only I knew how. LOL. I'm Mega noon help me out here buddy
  23. Interesting. IDK it just seemed really weird that it was idling so high. Even in drive when im at a light it will jump up to 1000-1500 rpms. If you say its normal then i geuss its normal. My dad says its not tho. im not quite sure.
  24. Thats really normal? but what about in park. Shouldnt it be lower instead of way up where it was?
