  1. Hi guys..

yet another problem, separate from the rolling resistance one. I think a U-Joint might be failing. The truck has 170000kms on it, I get a vibration, not through my wheel but through my seat, only under power, while accelerating in between 60-90 kms/hr.

I cant imagine it being the wheels being unbalanced, because i dont feel it in the steering wheel and i recently got them balanced.

Has anyone experienced a failing U-joint, like a gradually wearing U-joint? What are some symptoms? obviously im not driving around with a drive shaft dragging but i feel like it needs to be replaced, just from where the vibration is coming from and the fact that it happens under power only.

  2. Alright guys, this is becoming a problem

Even in RWD i can feel progressively more resistance than what is normal, also my left front wheel squeaks occasionaly with each rotation. There is something in the driveline that is causing this. For some reason im leaning twords a wheel bearings being shot, but im not a 100% sure.

What are your thoughts, it is now winter i dont have an indoor area to work on the path, so im most likely going to take it to a shop.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks,

  3. Hi guys,

Hoping you can help me figure this out. Any time i put my truck in 4wd and turn my wheel to lock either in reverse or forward gear and try to move. The truck resists. It feels like there's mad resistance somewhere. I just am not too familiar with all the parts in a 4wd system. Is this maybe like warn out hubs or something like that ? :S. I have a 02 Chilkoot, 5sp, manual transfer case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated i want to solve this soon!

    Cheers,

  4. It's a stock bumper it's all stock body(except hood) and a built motor, just cut out some space for the front mount, piping and oil cooler. I like when tire pokes out, that let's you know it's stanced out wide, I'm just running stock rims still, you just wait till I throw on the 18x10 and 18x12.5's which are in my thread

  5. Ps the body work I did is 100% smooth sanded to 800, just sketched to paint the whole body panel when the majority of the paint on it is still good. The KY0 color this pathfinder is is next to impossible to get and there are seven variations of KY0. So I don't want to risk it looking ******. Also I don't want to just spray like a patch, that would be to noticeable and I wouldnt be happy with it.
