Try a nissan oil filter - see what happens to your tick.

Just saying, they are out there....
Now if you want those skids, why not fab them, the t case especially is very basic.
Because of some of us live in Apartments and don't have a workshop or welder.
(all my tools are in storage )
-
Mine has them, but - for future reference, was the wiring all there or did you have to run new wires?

Sounds like he had far more problems than just needing a tune up.....

Yeah yeah yeah, I actually had the 4x4parts front skid, and was unimpressed. now show me a tcase or Oil pan skid.....

Juke is Subcompact- CUV
Rogue is Compact - CUVMurano is Midsize (Big Midsize, but only 5 seats) -CUV
Xterra is Midsize - Truck - (5 Seats, real 4wd)
new Pathfinder is big Midsize (7 seats) - CUV
Armada is fullsize - Truck
The differentiation on size is definitely there - Really with this product line you can do whatever you want to do and Nissan will want have a product for you....except potentially a compact 4x4er....but who wants those any more (xtrail).
Want a small car, but a little taller? Juke! - Need it in AWD for snow? No Problem!
Want a small SUV so you can fit a kid or two - Rogue! - Need it in AWD for snow? No Problem!
Want a medium SUV (older couple) - Murano! - Need it in AWD for snow? No Problem!
Wan a medium SUV that can offroad - Xterra! - Need it in 4wd to do some trails? its got it!
Want a little bigger SUV that can handle the kids and grand kids? - Pathfinder! - Need it in AWD for snow? No Problem!
Want something that can handle the kids, grand kids, and tow the boat? - Armada! - Need it in 4wd to do some trails? its got it!
Its segmented perfectly!

I would like to know more about the xterra ones.... Because if oem fits.. Aftermarket will too. And you can't get aftermarket Pathy skids...

It's behind the driver rear quarter panel....just pull off the plastic panel and it's bolted to the side. Don't ask me why it's back there

Im thinking Voltmeter, Transmission Temp, and Oil Pressure..
Someone mentioned Autometer Z-Series....that does look like the way to go. I only want to run wires, not tubes so Electrical sending units are a must.
I did a search on Summit for Black, Black Bezel, 2 1/6" Electrical Sending unit, and these are really the best options (that look decent)
I would LOVE 270degree sweep for the added resolution, but those gauges are like $150 each....so a good compromise:

R50 is multi link live axle rear-R51 is coil over irs. Not even close. I think R50 uses struts up front, R51 regular coilovers

A transmission flush with every oil change?? The amount of money he poured into the thing was probably well more then 2 new transmissions would have cost....

I used to do 5k with it too, but just watching the color I didn't think it necessary

Heavier flywheel = more angular momentum =slower revving... Do there's both sides of the equation

7500 miles. Mobil 1

Yep. I have new rubber everywhere, cld tiles in the doors, cotton padding behind the door panels and it's tolerable. I need a new seal on the sunroof glass itself though I have no idea how to scrape it off/glue on...

The Dual use gauges are pretty kickass...

Do you mean that they sent it to the wrong address, or just that you didn't update it?
I sent my new Addy to Dowser awhile back but no biggie, I still "live" at the old location anyway.
-
Got mine... Well at my old house in az anyway. It's getting sent to me tomorrow.

Looks like you can get an OEM one for about $250...might be your only option.

Later Model "truck" Explorers use IRS and use the Ford 8.8"
Probably your best bet is a custom frame with a IRS Ford 9" or something (they make them for drag cars) and custom A-arms with coils.
I've always thought the R51 with an armada swap front and rear ( so it would be long travel front and rear) would be a wicked (cheapish) high speed desert truck...

Cool! I laughed at the one installed on the 26' Uhaul I drove last year. I got 4MPG as a result.
Back to pathy's.....so what your saying is mine runs .75hg all the time...

Interesting update -if I am double foot the thing, left foot on the brake, right foot on the gas, ~1500RPM - I can go into drive/reverse no issue - so maybe its not a Torque converter thing at all and possibly the tranny trying to start in 2nd or third. Definitely does work, makes getting out of my parallel parking spot in the morning a bit noisy but hey....
This is gonna get a little OT
