  1. the 2" lift for this is great, I just put mine on and I love it. My handling and drivability hasnt gotten any worse at all. But if you do your lift get the complete package of shock, struts and coils, yeah its a little more expensive but its worth knowing its all new and in good condition. As far as tires that are good on tread between offroad and onroad, I have a set of hankook dynapros and they are amazing, I have had them for a year and I really haven't worn them down at all and traction with them is ridicious ha.

  2. well since I've finished my lift I have been busy making a custom front bumper seeing how like no one really makes any, and its been a PAIN but I love it so much. I still have make 3 days of work to do on it still but its finally starting to come together..

Day one which was a week ago ha.

  3. So I want to SAS an wd21, I think they look amazing and would love to have one to take to moab and all the other local places.... BUT which year and version would be the best to do it with, Id like to get one of the 2 doors and make it a hard top convertable haha. In the end I've done some reading and stuff and I am just not sure what would be the best years and versions when I do this. So just had to ask for some advice seeing as how we have so many memebers with the wd21s?

IF there is already a topic about this I'm sorry.

  4. As far as the knock senser goes it is a pain to do specially if you have big hands like me, cause its just a little sensor bolted on top of the motor that requires you to tear the top of the motor off to change.

  5. after slowly saving my money finally got my AC lift and it turned out way nice. I bought the 2" AC lift with the bilstein shocks and kyb struts and I got the camber bolts. :clickdalink:https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/pathfinder-suspension-package-p-1959.html Took me a while cause I pretty much redid my whole front end. From wheel bearings to lower control arms I did everything but tie rods and sway bar. I have started making a tube front bumper already so I got her torn down again ha

  6. I think we all need to go and complain to nissan.............. This breaks my heart man..... :( They keep degrading the pathfinder, it was the first off road suv other than the patrol, but now that new I bet it can't even make it past easy trials. Nissan needs to make a good reliable 4x4, yes I said 4x4, that can perform in all conditions. They also need to get ride of some of pointless interior crap and make it and design it around being a real HYBRID-(onroad/offroad).

  7. Well as far as xterras go the old ones are almost the same as our pathfinders. They have the same motor and in my opinion about the same size, the only real difference is how the xterras have a seperate body and frame. The newer xterras still seperate frame from body but with a 4.0 engine instead of a 3.3. The xterras and pathfinders both have their pros and cons so it all comes down to what you think feels the best for you. They are all offroad capable stock and all can be made into some sweet sweet offroaders. As far as forums go this one is the easiest to navigate and use in my opinion, newx.org doesn't got anything this even with their HUGE growth right now.

  8. Been reading some of the stuff from the guys that have SASed there R50s, but I havent been able to find any good build topics so if you guys can throw me some links PLEASE.

The main question though, would an axle off of a zj grand cherokee work instead of d44 for the axle swap?

  9. finally got around to working on my pathy agian guys, fixed my knock sensor and EVAP canister problems and also bought new wheels and tires.. I bought the wheels and tires at my local les schwab for just over $1000, they're 31 inch hankooks on 15 inch black steel rims.....and the surprizing part is I barely have any rubbing even with my ride being the XE which has a sharper turning radius and without a lift yet..... the only problem I had was I grind down my calipers a little bit to get so the rims would fit....

  10. My SES light came on today :headwall: ..... took it into my auto class and the codes P0325 for the knock sensor, and P1447 for my EVAP System.

So I was wondering how much time and money do you think it would take to fix both of these??????
