I'm new to this forum, and I am thinking about lifting my 88 Pathfinder. I'll probably be going with a Calmini 3" lift and 31" tires. I was initially wanting the tires to be 11.5" wide, but that's proving difficult to find -- so I'll probably have to settle for 31X10.5. Anyway, I was looking at cheap black steel wheels to go along with the whole package, and I found some that I like. Cragar Black Soft 8 (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=CRR%2D3975860&N=700+0&autoview=sku). However, I was wondering about the backspacing and offset for these wheels. I'd like the wheels/tires to be sticking outside of the wheel-well/body (I have flares that I can put on to make it legal when the cops start bitching) -- but I do not know if these puppies will do that for me. Any help from you guys? What kind of backspacing are you running? From what I hear, the less the backspacing the more the the tire will stick out. Is 4" enough to do that?
