I agree with FLApathy, as Nissan 4wheelers we have to be a smaller tight-knit group because of the lack of aftermarket support - and also the fact that we don't do the whole "Jeep Thing". I don't worry about other peoples rigs but my own. We're the underdogs and yeah its frustrating but definitely rewarding when you can do the same trail as the countless Jeeps and Toyotas out there and they have that look like :o "but I have all this stuff on my truck and yours look stock...WTF!" I definitely love that story of the Samurai and the Rubicon. "$35,000 well spent....NOT!" Anyway thats my 2-cents.

RWC5S2, Sick ride! And if you don't wheel it oftened then no biggie. I'll agree with you on the capabilities, the r50 doesn't come across as that capable but it handles way more terrain then I ever thought possible.

Yeah I have a 98 LE and only my hatch door locks when I open my rear window. I wish I had a button on the dash to unlock the window latch-thingy.

Hell yeah these are great days! Finally some attention for us R50 owners! And now BP is willing to help out too.....(sniff) Hats off to everyone who's got a hand in the R&D of aftermarket products for R50's.

Dean, I'm interested in this as well. The 4.5 always seemed high, to me, according to the pictures I've seen but figured this was the "smallest" body lift for an R50 given the complexity. I also thought it was necessary to lift it at least 4.5" because of our steering problems. Meaning a smaller body lift would not allow for a steering solution to fit/connect onto the existing steering - there just wouldn't be any space. I think snowman_fs and Kieth(system_f) talked about that so 4.5" was necessary. BUT....If I'm wrong then ...why 4.5"....????? :confused:

I have a 98 Pathy and on the rear diff it has an orange sticker that says "USE ONLY LSD OIL" Its located near the top of the diff cover shouldn't be too hard to find. I can safely assume that if your rig doesn't have that sticker than you don't have the LSD. Hopes this helps.

Whats up NPORA peoples!! Just cruising on over here from the AC bb, and I have to say I recognize alot of.....sigs. Anyway just wanted to say Hi. HI. Well I'm always interested in learning all I can about Nissans especially Pathfinders. I have a 98 4x4 pathy fairly stock but oh is my wish list growing....and growing....and growing.....and you get the point. Just recently started off-roading here in Southern California, and man its a blast! I love 4wheeling and basically anything outdoors. With the addition of 4wheeling I tend to surf as much as I can on my free time, there's nothing like the power and beauty of the ocean. Latahs!
