  1. The hose for my AC system rest on the master cylinder and seems to have cracked or melted through and now my ac is dead. Bad time for it to go! The dealer quoted me around $220 just for the hose!!! Is there something I can use to patch the hose? It doesn't look to hard to change out myself, but what is the greenish fluid that's coming out of it? I take it that I would need the ac system recharged after?
  2. I just counted the splines. 27. Well, that sucks. It didn't even occur to me to look for that when I bought them. Look for them in the for sale section soon.
  3. I bought a set of Warn manual hubs off another member here and when I tried to install them, they would not fit on the spindle. I tried both hubs, thinking there would be left and right specific hubs, but still no go. Did I buy hubs that are for a different year Pathfinder?
  4. As a Canadian, NEVER use UPS, Fedex or any other courier service. Use good old USPS. It may take longer, but the raping will not be as bad. I remember reading a couple of years ago that there were some people out east that had started a class action suit against UPS because of their raping practices. I'm sure you could google it. I'm too lazy.
  5. I thought I would have some time to give this a try yesterday, but I was way too busy. I'm leaving in a bit to go camping and enjoy some of this country's great liquid sunshine for a week.
  6. Thanks for the input guys. That's a nice set up there Jad. Now call me retarded, but how do I hook it into the battery?
  7. I totally suck at wiring, so any help is very much appreciated. I want to add a 12v plug in the cargo area, but don't know where I tie in the wires to get power.
  8. Totally forgot about updating this. I just got the UCAs in this weekend. I just have to get an alignment done and I'm all set. I'll see if I can take some pics tomorrow.
  9. My fuel gauge underreads by more than a 1/4 of a tank. Is there any way I can adjust it to be more accurate?
  10. I just changed the speed sensor in my truck, hoping that would solve my speed problems, but it's still not working correctly. It's either working or not and more often than not, it's not working. I've looked through my Haynes manual and the FSM and I can't find anything. I did check the wiring and couldn't find anything, but I really suck at electrical things. Can anyone shed some light on what else I have to look for?
  11. I have that same rack with the extension. Pretty light in weight. Seems to hold my stuff well enough. It's a nice cheaper alternative. I got mine brand new, still in a box, off of Craigslist for $160.
  12. Well, the add says it for an 87 Nissan truck or Pathfinder. http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pml/pts/1643204542.html
  13. Are there different ones made up for a manual and auto tranny? There's someone in my local area who is selling them brand new for $200 and they are ceramic coated. He said that they are only for a manual tranny.
  14. I bought my 3" body lift from 4x4parts.com. Great to deal with. Make sure you use USPS to ship and not UPS. Where in Canada are you?
  15. Thanks guys. I just ordered the ones from 4x4parts.com
  16. I need to get some new UCAs to finish off my lift properly, but I really don't know which ones to get. All the info I read on doing lifts didn't really seem to mention which ones where better than others. On 4x4 parts, I could only find these and it doesn't state what make these are. I also found the Calmini UCAs on the Rugged Rocks website, but they're considerably more. I did see someone mention that the Rancho UCAs are good, but I don't know where to find them.
  17. Thanks for the info guys. I managed to get it on using the brackets as shown. I'm finally done! My forearms sure took a beating. I'll see if I can get some pics myself.
  18. Ok. I've got my 3" body lift in and all I have left to do is the front bumper. I went over all the threads about lifting, but no one posted any info or pics on how to mount the front bumper. The kit comes with 4 bumper relocation brackets, but for the life of me, I can only figure out how to get 2 brackets in there. Can someone post some info/pics on how they did it?
  19. I would imaging that your Y pipe looks like the one pictured here? Right?
  20. So the new "Y" pipe is more like a "T" pipe now?
  21. Wow. I have the OBX headers too. (not installed yet) If you could post some more pics of your y-pipe setup, that'd be really helpfull. Good thing my 3" body lift just came today too.
  22. Thanks for that! I went over it again and again trying to figure it out. I finally looked at the ground wires and they were both loose. I tightened them up and cleared the codes, so hopefully that's it. I'll find out when I drive to work tomorrow. I owe you a beer buddy!
  23. Ok, my CEL is coming back with the same code and I just changed the O2 sensor. Even when I get around to check the sensor resistance, what can be causing the problem? Could it be something related to them doing the timing belt, water pump and radiator? Could the mechanice have forgotten to hook something back up or knocked something loose? It's driving me nuts, as sometimes when the cel comes on, I'm getting hesitation when accelorating.
  24. Thanks for the info. If my CEL comes back, I'll give that a try.
