  1. Those look like the ones on my AC arms.
  2. I saw that post too. Almost tempted to get that sticker.
  3. Hi Peter. Where in Holland are you? I have quite a lot of family there.
  4. I'm wanting to do this with the hubs that I have. Where do you get the 28 spline internal gear? Order from Warn?
  5. He ships via UPS ground to Canada. This makes it not worth it for us. You will get raped with brokerage fees.

    Funny stuff

This is the best beer commercial. *snort* Lets go ahead and put a NSFW on that with a R rating for explicit language.
  7. How did the spacers ruin your UCAs?
  8. Sounds like you got the right ones. They are prone to loosening. Same thing happened to me shortly after I got mine last year.
  9. It's just in behind the distributor. Take the cover off of it and you can see it better.
  10. I'll keep an eye here in Surrey. Thieving bastards should be shot! Unfortunately, our model of Pathfinders are on ICBC's 10 most stolen vehicles. From what I was told, is that the tumblers wear out, so you can use a similar style of key to start the truck. While I have an alarm with an immobilizer, I always use my club too.
  11. I took my truck into the shop today. It's a technical university, so I only get charged parts. In addition to my cv axles, I need a new pitman arm, idler arm and tie rod ends. I knew I should have stayed home Sunday. Now I am without a vehicle until next Wednesday or Thursday, because right now the university doesn't run weekends, Monday and Tuesday. At least I saved myself a bunch of cash.
  12. I finally got done drilling out the stuck bolt remains and retapping the holes for a 5/8 bolts. I had to enlarge the holes on the UCA spindle too. Also replaced the shock and tomorrow it goes to a local college to get the students to do the cv axles on both sides. You know, just when you think you have all the right tools, there will be something you don't have that you need really bad. I could not get any reduced shank drill bits and I had to buy a drill with a 1/2 inch chuck. It never ends.
  13. I got around to removing what was left of the bolts tonight (only the back one, the other one is stuck good!) and it looks like the half of the threading in the bolt holes is stripped. Something I overlooked when I changed out the stock UCAs. This could have allowed the bolt to loosen overtime. We did find one of the broken bolts on the trail and it looks like there was some play in there by the way the bolt is worn. I'll take a pic of it later. I picked up some 1/2 inch grade 8 bolts and they are actually too small. I'll have to go bigger after I drill out the stuck bolt and retap the holes. By the markings on the bolt that was in there, it was a 1/2" grade 8 bolt. I do not believe that is stock. The bolt on the other side are smaller. Something must have happened when the previous owner had it. It's now my belief that if the threading was good all the way through and the bolts were good and snug, this probably would not have happened.
  14. What grade of bolt would you suggest I put in there? Grade 8?
  15. I was going over some pretty rocky terrain when this happened. My front tire was tucked up beside a rock and my truck wanted to move to the left. I guess the rock won. Since the truck is my daily driver too, it really sucks being without wheels. And my wife took our other vehicle to visit her folks. I actually had to take the bus to work today. The first time I've been on a bus in about 10 years.
  16. I really thought some other things would break before these did. We tied a tow strap around the frame and the UCA to limp back 30km for a tow.
  17. If you ever want to run with another Pathfinder, give me a shout. I need people to wheel with. I used to live in Campbell River.
  18. Did you use UPS? ALWAYS use USPS. It may take a little longer, but you get dinged less.
  19. The hose for my AC system rest on the master cylinder and seems to have cracked or melted through and now my ac is dead. Bad time for it to go! The dealer quoted me around $220 just for the hose!!! Is there something I can use to patch the hose? It doesn't look to hard to change out myself, but what is the greenish fluid that's coming out of it? I take it that I would need the ac system recharged after?
  20. I'd be interested in tagging alone. Not sure where the Silverdale Husky is though. I also have to get a sitter.
  21. I just counted the splines. 27. Well, that sucks. It didn't even occur to me to look for that when I bought them. Look for them in the for sale section soon.
  22. I bought a set of Warn manual hubs off another member here and when I tried to install them, they would not fit on the spindle. I tried both hubs, thinking there would be left and right specific hubs, but still no go. Did I buy hubs that are for a different year Pathfinder?
  23. Welcome to the site. I just bought a place in Langley and will be moving there at the end of August. I have 2 BFG A/T in 31x10.5 on Toyota rims, if you are looking for spares. Also, Ralphs on Scott Road has a bunch of Pathfinders there if you are looking for parts.
  24. As a Canadian, NEVER use UPS, Fedex or any other courier service. Use good old USPS. It may take longer, but the raping will not be as bad. I remember reading a couple of years ago that there were some people out east that had started a class action suit against UPS because of their raping practices. I'm sure you could google it. I'm too lazy.
