  1. if you're going to use the hammer/screwdriver method, point the screwdriver away from the truck hehe...the last thing you need is a screwdriver slipping and putting a scratch on your fender =P try and see if pliers work first hehe

oops, i scratched the fender before the trying the pliers. anyway, i pulled it out and all the teeth look good, but when i put it back in it catches on what i assume to be the motor/gears but when i make it go down, it just clicks, i did get it to go down once but then it didnt go back down.is the antenna cord supposed to end with what looks like part of it missing?

  2. my antenna finally got stuck in the up position, how do i get to the motor/belt that drives it? i looked under the hood but didnt see any access to it. do i need to go through the glovebox? it used to need help starting down but would finish on its own, now it wont go down at all, will it need a replacement belt? ive heard these are plastic? thanks.

  3. Headlights, like all bulbs, dim over time. They don't just suddenly go POOF. They decrease in performance, just like everything else with use.

Don't buy bulbs from Walmart...do yourself a favor and get some good quality bulbs like Silvanias or Wagners from your local Checker or AutoZone.

ok, thanks. are the bulbs hard to replace? i have the service manual for it so ill look through that.

  4. thanks, i decided to leave the flaps on and let them fall off on their own, new question;does anyone else have dim head lights? my lights are nothing compared to my aunts 2001 frontier.is this a product of bad desigh or old dim bulbs? would buying new bulbs from like walmart fix it or is it supposed to be like that?

  5. I would change the fuse out with a new one anyway.. sometimes they can "look" fine and still not work. ;)

i put the fuse for the rear wiper(which works) in the audio slot and it still didnt work,i did the same with the heated seats fuse which have never been used as my truck doesnt have them.
