Hey guys, its not expensive.... 3000$cdn do redo it all... like overhaul haha I got 2 pathys some some parts are swaping but i had to get the inner fenders made custom and the rocker panels too... real nice though. Where can i get the liner? Or some type of flooring... anything to make it nice.

Well today my truck went to the body shop to be rebuilt... for those who dont remember my truck its the rust bucket at www.pathfinderxbuild.com. They are going to be overhauling it from top to bottom. Completely changing my doors, fenders, inner fenders, etc..... sandblasting my frame and repainting it. Its gonna be one sexy truck when its done. Gonna take up to a month to do Now some questions while its being rebuilt. - I want to put down some new flooring... any ideas? -Want to change or fix seats.... any ideas?

yes but it was not grounded.... and someone rewired it so that an extra wire ran with a hot... hard to explain youd have to see... anyhow shes all jgood now

Ok i fixed it, i took my multimeter and messed around with the wires near the ecu computer... its busted, always constant power. I replaced the ECU with the other one in my 92 pathy and it fixed the problem, my mechanic did it all for free, i went to pay and he said dont worry bout it...dads old friend and my first car... he seems to love my truck and the fact that i wont give up on it lol. I did most of the work myself in the garage anyhow... rewired, put plastic conduit to protect wires, and added a new ground... old one was @!*%. Re-wired my fuel pump aswell.

Its not the gauges because you can actually hear the motor going up and down and you can feel it. The gauges are new aswell.... And yes changing gaskets does cost alot of money if you do it at a garage since its alot of labour...time consuming. But the weather over here will not allow me to work on my own truck... I even replaced my whole air intake systeme with 02 sensor to see if it was that. IM bringing the truck in to reset the computer this morning. See how that goes. Thanks Jason

ok I got my truck back again today, all gaskets changed in the motor. Now it doesnt hop anymore since the vacuum is tight in... but for some reason my rpm is bouncing around...dunno why

Hey guys, well I turned 18 this week and I got a nice present... truck started acting up, im sure most read the thread about it... anyhow cost me Gasket kit: 156$ CDN 6 hours labour, charged me only for 4: 58$/hour Taxes in... Grand total: 446$ cdn.... YAY im broke. Pretty much drained me out since i work part time and go to school full time. Anyhow as some might have seen I got a 92 Pathy with everything in it, so if anyone needs parts let me know ASAP cause I have a week to pay off my garage. Would help me out alot hehe, or maybe someone has better ideas? lol Thanks Jason

Alright alright, my mechanic is a godsent and found the issue. Had nothing to do with sensors or anything of that sort, the sensors where just doing their job lol hehe. Apparently its the engine not holding the vacuum, has to change some gaskets... if its the head gasket its easy.... but the bottom one might be pricy due to labour. Thanks for all your help guys! ECU wont do anything cause the computer from 95 pathy down doesnt keep the history of systeme problems...resets itself. Which is why im guessing it runs fine after i turn her off for 10 min

I got the book, sorry guys my first car.... just nervous to fool around under the hood. OK now strange thing is this.... Next morning I start my car...drive to the garage no issues it runs like a dream....later tonight it starts acting up again. I go to a movie.... it doesnt hop anymore after the movie but it idles at 2 rpm... im used to idling at like 800-1000 rpm and 1500 when its realy cold out. Any ideas guys... I wanted to bring it to my mechanic but it wasnt having issues, so he told me to keep driving and see if it starts up again... and it did. Thanks for the help guys Jason

And the fuel pump sensors or all sensors i should check are located where exactly? if u dont mind... sorry

Fuel filter looks like what under the truck?

Sorry guys im not to good of a mechanic yet... i got the book but where exactly can i find the sensors and how do i go by fixing them... also how do i change my fuel filter?

It bucks but once i go under 2.5 rpm or so it purs like a cat... runs 100% fine. Just once i go higher it bucks like it was dying for gas in a sense

Its a manual transmission.... 91 pathy 4x4 4 dr xe. Last thing i did was replace my dash as in the speedometer and rpm manifold there.... other then that nothing. Got my oil changed but the oil level is fine... It doesnt stop but when i rev higher then 2-2.5 my car hops
