Option 2 was rebuild it but I was looking at twice as much at least and the thing had already 330k on it with a rebuild done at half of that before hand. Trany cooler is definitely next

When I first got the truck I had the typical signs with the transmission going , with the reverse not engaging 2 % of the time but back and forth to park and it was going. Forward one year ; during a kick down the trans slipped and I red lined the engine :o let go the gas to shift to 2nd and it did. Well this was the technique from now on , and I lost the overdrive . Forward 2 weeks and there goes the reverse( there is no more ) good thing being forced to go forward was not a problem sly Well story short my garage dude got me a low mileage from China and it cost me $1300 installed with one year warranty -bounce- We are back on the road and sometimes off it lol

Update the thing is on Used truck bed rail cut about 12'' off, paint and used special fastener and voila we have a basket on the roof -bounce- I had the light on but did not take picture yet I'll be updating later

I was doing a search on recovery techniques (after realizing my first high lift recovery attempt could use some improvement ) and had already fallen in love with my first PATHY. I was very immersed in the whole wheeling thing, followed by my brother (seeing the light) getting his own '92. The google search revealed a club with not only people that wheel and stuff ; but that all have mainly PATHFINDERS -bounce- The first glance revealed a well organised, interesting bunch of knowledgeable people with the same passions and liked the way it was going ; for the first time I was a newbie member trying to fill my inquiring mind and trying to help with my limited two cents when I can. I am considering two reinforced brackets sandwiching sheet metal and interior liner running the length perimeter edge of roof (leaving the option for interior mods ) and quick connect something Still in the what the thing can hold and weigh process (200 250lb) I might have to get dual shocks if I keep going

-bounce- Just got my new basket and extension and have put it together -bounce- Now I could use some ideas on how to fasten it to the roof(something about screwing it directly to the roof sheet metal for a low profile look) but still be able to remove and install easily? Appeciate any suggestions thank you

You're probably right , I was told by a friend that it was getting out of conrol but did not go for a long time and was supprise by the closing. And than *Overreacted* somewhat with this new trend There is a lot of trails out there and treading lightly will keep them for generation

I was going to the coke plant today and I see this We have to stop the closing of all the trails This was used by motorcross, atv, 4 wheelers etc young and old Well they can't put that f^##%& sign everywhere the F*#@^&$
