  1. Mine takes quite a long time to heat up, just thought I would say that even though its not the same thing as your problem.
  2. Okay make that a little more simple, I do not know all these parts and terms yet man.
  3. Well it only does when it sits there for a while, like overnight. If I just run inside and go back outside and sit in it, it does not happen. And it is while the engine is off, it has nothing to do with the engine, sorry man.
  4. I have had my Pathy now for a while, for those of you who do not know it is a '95 XE. Every morning when I go out and sit down in the drivers seat I hear a loud popping noise coming from what seems to be just the front end. At first I thought this was connected to that suspension problem that is talked about when I have my wheels turned and I go over a bump, when I do do that I hear another popping noise. Are these related? What can I do about them?
  5. Yeah when I bought mine that was the first thing I had to replace.
  6. No, I was missing a part. But my neighbor, who luckily has a shop and knows what he is doing is going to help me cut a piece of wood to help substitue for the missing piece. Hopefully I will not have to deal with this for too long because I hope to have my external tire carrier installed within the next year.
  7. I am going to have to remove the windows for this procedure aren't I?
  8. You mean the spoiler is easily damaged when something is on the roof rack?
  9. Can you install one of those rear spoilers I see on the SE onto the XE? I want to basically transform my XE into an SE and this is one thing I need to do. So can I and does anyone have one they would sell? I am kinda new to this so, is that even a spoiler? Be gentle.
  10. Yeah I thought of the foam idea and I guess I will do that but I need to know what kind of foam and where I an get it. I heard Hobby Lobby maybe?
  11. Ok do not send the next order without getting one for me man. All I need is one. Just let me know how to pay and who to pay to and I would be very very happy.
  12. How much do you think a shop would charge to have it done?
  13. I could not ask for more. Thanks Filthy.
  14. The old lady who owned my Pathy before me put on a lot of really cheap after-market stuff. Like that stripping on the doors that I had to take off. Now I need to take off this stupid tinting thats on all the windows, it has a stupid purple tint to it and I hate it. How do I get this off?
  15. What is the color of your Pathfinder? Me: 1995 XE-V6 WHITE!
  16. There are some real assholes out there. I was at my friends house and I was getting ready to leave when this guy, who I know a little, jumps and plops his ass on the hood of my Pathfinder. I am freaking out and so he slides off putting 2 scratches down the hood and a dent the size of his big ass. The scratches came from something on his jeans when he slid off. It looks like the scratches are going to buff out. What do I do about the dent!?
  17. My tire is loose! When driving around I hear all sorts of clunking and stuff, its my tire. It is on a rack which is mounted to the side in the back on the drivers side. If pictures are needed then pictures I can provide. It doesnt look like I will be getting an external tire rack so I need to make sure my internal one is at 100%. I just need to secure the tire to avoid all that clunking around and just make sure its as tight as can be.
  18. Okay that seems way to complicated for me at the moment. I guess I will just have to live with the fact that my first Pathfinder doesn't have an external tire carrier. Well I do have a mount inside my car, but I need help securing it as it is not 100% tight. Anybody heard anything about why it wouldnt be absolutley tight and any way I can get it absolutley tight?
  19. If anyone has any information on where I can get a spare tire carrier for the back of my 1995 XE then I would forever be their slave. I want one badly and cannot sem to find one anywhere. If anyone has one they could sell or knows at all where I can get one that would be a HUGE help. Thanks.
  20. I personally own an XE so I have to give it my vote. But any Pathfinder kicks everything elses ass! SEs do look awesome.
  21. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pioneer-6-x...roductDetail.do Now it says these fit in my front door and my rear roof panel, is this true? Because most places say that my Pathy have 4x6s in the front and 5x7s in the rear. So what is the deal with this, is Circuit City just stupid or what?
  22. Recently we were disscussing shifting on the fly. I tried this and I got a very loud clunking noise. Someone then said that if this happens then I need to lube my hubs pronto. I need help on how to do this. I am 16 this is my first car, I love my Pathfinder. Unfortunately I do not know much about cars, but I am trying to learn. So anyways, how do I lube my hubs because it sounds like I need to do this because I will be going off road and I need to make sure my 4 wheel drive is at 100%.
  23. "shifting on the fly is ok. haven't had any problems. if you had clunking mught want to check/lube your hubs pronto." Ok I want to do this.....how?
  24. What should I do with this? You get the gist of it... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
