  1. control arm bushings will fix the death wobble. Its not the tranny or diff.

Radio, you're screwed but thats a common problem. Get aftermarket

windows, try replacing your master switches on the drivers door.

the turn signal problem can be a bad stalk on the steering column

engine problems, sounds like a bad mass air flow sensor which could also be why it shuts off at lights

check the fuse for the clock. or the clock unit could just be dead. replace that.

    How many miles on this?

    any service engine soon lights?

  2. the hand is healing. I rewrapped the whole thing last night not just the coban and i'll have a sick scar lol. They had to cut more skin to go find the tendon. I'll take a pic if a rewrap in soon. Its hard typing with 8 fingers lol. Speaking of hydrolocking heres the xterra pictures from the 3 ft deep river in moab lol.

3 bent rods, 1 shattered piston skirt and i drove home like that. The engine had so low miles i replaced the broken parts and i still have that engine running great in the xterra today. When it hydrolocked i replaced the cams with some 89 300zx cams for a little improvement in power. Not much though.

  3. I didnt know they ever made a VH40, its more like the VQ40. They made a VH41 and a VH45, VK45, VK50, VK56. None of which will bolt up to any VG trans.Your best option for a huge power increase would be a VQ35 or a VQ40. I guarntee if you use a VQ35 out of an r50 and use the wd21 engine mounts it would be a very close bolt on. The drivetrain is about the same length as the vg drivetrain so you still have room for a fan, rad, accessories, ac condenser, etc..

  4. Just got home from the hospital. The surgery went well and i have a follow up visit in about a week. they have just a splint on just the finger now and not clear up to my elbow so i can use all fingers but my index. so i shhould be able to start getting some work done (lifts) but it'll be slower obviously. i hav to keep this splint on for 2 weeks then therapy. but it should be too hard to just move my finger up and down once its healed lol. typing is still hard lol.

it cut thru my skin, the tendon and some @!*% under that. its a semi circle cut but 3/4s of the way around. i guess i sgoulda wore gloves but its one of those things where its like wtf??? good thing im left handed :) this wont stop any production of the lifts. im still waiting on the guy to cut those flanges and send them to me. his engineer is out and theyre busy.but its nothing hard to do for him. he had to make a CAD and all that.

  6. K guys. Question for you guys. Depending on how the next week or so goes the price on building these lifts might go down a good bit. But I want your feedback. What would YOU guys pay for a 4" SFD??? Just the SFD, no new struts, AC coils, rear extended shocks. Just the brackets and spacers and steering extension etc. I want to be able to offer this at a price that everyone can afford but not so cheap that im just doing it for free.

I also what your constructive criticism. but not too constructive lol. Feel free to send me a PM too.

also tell me what other products you guys want that could possibly be built. Dont say things like bolt on SAS cuz thats not possible lol. Ive even thought of it.

  7. Just to make it more clear, its located on the transmission bellhousing itself. I got to mine via the top of the engine and the bottom. When i did a tranny swap I actually ripped out the wires so it was a bigger pain but it can be done. I went through the top to disconnect the plug that was still on the back then I went in through the bottom with a 10 mm wrench to loosen and take out the sensor. I was able to take it out from the bottom if i remember correctly. You could try jacking the back of the trans all the way up and then going through the engine bay again. The same for letting the trans droop all the way.
