yep if it's shifting in & out of overdrive all the time or you feel it's working to hard then turn it off if not then dont worry about it -thnkboutit-

Mine has got nothing written on them nothing written on the lid or in the book had to just keep pulling them out and checking till i found it if some one had a picture of what goes where it would be great :gossip:

ok I preformed numerous searches with minimal results. How do I do self-deagnostics and get the error codes. i know it sounds silly but i do not know how to get my error codes or what i need to get them. I have never had to deal with them in the past as my past cars either did not have the capability or i just did not want find out what was wrong.

I'm installing trailer wiring on my 97, and got the driver side panel off and the wiring installed, but can't get the passenger side panel off. Right where there is that storage box, there seems to be something holding it all on, but I cant figure out what and can't get it detached. Also...I bought the factory wiring harness from nissan, and one side has 3 wires coming out, while the other side has only 2. Does it matter which plugs into which side? The wiring came with no directions at all. Thanks, -Chris
If it's like our australian ones the little black storage box in the bottom has a plistic clip in the bottom had to drill mine out as it's to hard to try to pull it out :secret:

if it's the damned dinging when your door is open and your keys are in, it should be a little gadget the size of a flasher relay under your dash. Open the door and crawl under there. If it's the beep of the horn for the alarm, you're screwed. It's built in.
edit.... on the 2002, the warning chimes are intgrated into the smart entrance control unit. It's behind the drivers side instrument lower panel.

Are you talking about the door/seatbelt chime? Or the beep of the horn when you lock your doors?

i pulled the plug on that bloody chiming thing which was behind the dash .
Now a mate of mine has a 2002 model (mine is a 2001 ) and he want's to do the same to his but he said his is not behind the dash but he thinks it's down near the fuse's
can any one shed some light on the problem . :secret: -
I vote scorpian... That CSA Magnum is also pretty sharp, but the deep lip on Scorpian is just plain sexy. Just my opinion, but I'd rather have my factory rims than either of your other two decisions. What size tire are you planning on running?
Not sure on what size tyre yet , wating to hear back from the wheel makers to see what fits before i pick a tyre

Mattie when you get it could you post some pics ,maybe the guys doing the job could take some pics or let you take them along with some mesurments of the hole ect

I was hoping some one could give me some idear of how wide and there thoughts on the wheels and what sort of A/T tyre to get on them .

I'd use an Optima yellow top battery. You can mount those in any position, even upside down if you want. That would save the trouble of hacking up the floor for an access door.

but whats the yellow top got to do with it deep cycle or or cranking or is to just look pretty -
Hi guys I am thinking obout putting a second battery down the back left hand side under the car between the subfram and the guard , right hand side to you guys over there (opposite side to the muffler ) in the R50 theres a fair size gap in there should be big enough to hold a N70 truck & tractor battery . Would have to fit it in a cradle then bolt the cradle into place and make a door in the floor to check water termals ect .
What do you think any idears would be great

but then I will miss a new problem that may arise.
I will go through each possible problem untill I find it now. Starting with the cheapest of course.
then put a switch in it and you can turn it on to check :cool2:

Try running it with the belt off !
whle you have it off give the alternator a spin and listen for a rumble and give the fan a rock up and down and a bit of a spin and listen for any noise
Hey guys, my 91 pathy, 4 door xe, is making some weird noises. It whines as I go faster.
you dont say if it is when the engine go's faster or if it's when the car go's faster if it's the car when moveing it clould be trans , transfer , or diff bearings
