yeah i got new wheels sitting in my back yard right now. what size 31s can i fit on the stock suspension with a little trimming? oh and i know a guy who seems to know plenty about pathys and is helping me with all the mods. i allready know bout the runners and my bud is making me up a set for free. ova if your serious im down for that.yes i did intoduce my bike first. meet white lightning. shes fast handles good too but unfortunatly im gonna have to giver up for sponsorship reasons soon for this puppy.(prototype)

hey just thought id introduce myself in here. i drive a 96 le. im planning on throwing some 31s and lifting it 2 inches and checking out some local trails. heres some pics by the way if anyone knows of where i can get replacement trim let me know. i hate the plood

yeah i think im gonna go to this local place by me. they do mostly prerunner stuff though. think 96 would look any good with a prerunner bumper?

oh ok makes sense. we got shocks like that for our bikes. but the most basic ones use a shim stack: a buncha flexible discs that move when oil is forced through them.

well of course the r50 is the best body style, I own one

ok. so for bikes the damping on some of the shocks gets pretty complicated. can someone please inform me on how the dampers in car shocks work? i understand theres probly differences between offroad and street. but how do they work? basic grease and plunger? shim stack? or am i waay off? :confused:

ok. i know absolutly nothing when it comes to car suspention. i just know that my dampers are blown.(sorry bike terms, when i compress the suspention it keeps moving up and down) can anyone point me in a general direction for ne shocks and such? and what will it cost me price wise? id also like to lift it maybe 2 inches. also for an aftermarket bumper where would i go?

Where do you ride and what do you ride? I have an '04 Rocky Mountain RMX I loooooooooooove that bike. ok so im looking to get new tires for my 96. my buddy has 31's on his and says that it doesnt rub unless its floored in reverse. and frankly i cant think of anytime i would be floored in reverse so, could i fit 31s without any probs on stock suspension?
