Well, yall think what yall want. no, i have no relatives that live near me (all are least 3 hours away) so no kids ride with me EVER. i live in the freaking country. i drove it to mcdonalds and to the creek. though i could have been t-boned, the chances weren't very likely.
so what would make it better? a roll cage? tube doors?

okay, i followed the instructions on the maf cleaner how to and i out everything back together and nothing. wont crank. so i take everything back apart and the wiring harness is all the way in, the little wires appear to be just like they were, the o ring is alright, etc etc. i put it all back together and finally get it started, it idels like crap and when i try to drive, it wont rev up. when i push the gas its like a force is pushing against it. last time this happened i had to change the fuel filter. i saw on the how to 'transworldmoto' had the same problem. any ideas?

haha, watch the spotter, as soon as the driver gasses it.
lol i noticed that too.. the spotters like "oh crap!"

yeah, when i said i was 17, i was implying i dont have kids nor do any ever ride with me.
-
Did you have children in the it while the doors were off?
I'm 17.
-
Does that mean you you were just cruising around town like that ? I recommend rigging up some safari doors...
B
no, i went out to the creek and waterfall where we all ride. i had to ride around town a little bit to get food and get home. a cop pulled up next to me at a light, i looked over at him and he looked at me, smiled and kept going. i think it would take a real ass of a cop to actually pull me over for it.

well, i did take em off last week and left them off for the weekened. it was def. fun ridin without em. i swear it cut my gas mileage in half. maybe next time i'll keep the back glass open. 17 years of crap in the pins made it a little hard to get them off though.

do you have a sub woofer/amp wire runnin back there at all?
i'd be interested in doin the same thing. which wire would i use from my sub and amp?
-
good story.
i was mud ridin the other day and i stopped so my friend could catch up and out of nowhere, about 5 yellow jackets came out of my top vent. glad i had the windows open..
-
mine does the exact same thing. one random day, it came on and it wont go off.

i got a problem like yours and i cant find it in the manual either. my e-brake light stays on though all the time, even when i have the emergency brake all the way down.

You should look into the Ranger 6 meter ham radios if you really want some range. They can do a hundred miles or better.
They are ham radios.... but are easily converted into a cb by moving a few jumpers inside.... they're more or less made to do this from factory. And yes you should have a ham license to operate one but... if you 'wink wink' keep the power down to legal limits and stay in the CB frequency range you're legal.
Just click the link above and check out the 2950,2970,5054... all conversion friendly.
Take Care,
Clay
how do they catch you?

I've got the same mount and location, only with a K40 4' whip instead. Dude in the shop brought up a good point about bending and hitting on trees and possible breakage since he saw it going on a lifted truck. How well does yours flex, DJ?
i have a 8 foot whip and a 4 foot firestik. i just interchange the them as needed. look into getting a good spring and it'll flex and bend like crazy.
-
cool. do i see some bud light on the roof?
-
i get a ton of miles with my cobra and 8 ft whip. not sure how many, but i've talked to my friend clear across the county with his whip too.
-
hey it still looks cool

i've seen a set of those 52" michelins on a superduty down in panama city. they look freakin awesome in person.
-
man, i'm goin with 3" BL and 3" SL by way of JGC coils and new a-arms and torsion bars, and im gonna run 35's. that may be excessive, but hey, why not. im going to cut my fenders alot to and run a custom front bumper and exo cage. lol, sounds crazy now but it'll be cool when its done.

Was the K&N also oiled? I know the cone I dropped in my pathy has done very well without a single problem. I've even cleaned it one and re-oiled it.
thats all you gotta do and they will last for a very long time.
-
i wish i had leaf springs in the rear
-
how about a TRD tacoma?
-
gas prices really haven't bothered me to much. my job pays well enough for being 17 that i have plenty of gas money to drive for days, lol.
-
haha cool. drinkin and drivin your pathy in the sand i've almost gotten stuck in a nasty sand pit. i dont think i've ever floored it so hard in my life.
