  5. I was just looking through your pics, can you measure from the top of your rear bumper to the ground and tell me what you get? Thanks! Trey
  6. I used a 1/2 inch drive and a breaker bar...Maybe I need to hit the gym...LOL Also, spring compressors are a life saver!!
  7. New motor is in! Got the truck back at about 9pm and put the springs in today! I painted the panhard rod and shocks, I had painted the coils last week. I couldn't get enough leverage on the panhard rod nuts without taking the tires off. I suggest to anyone doing it to do that, it made everything much easier. Entire job took about 2 hours. I got a solid 3 inches in the rear, I cranked the T-bars until it looked even. I am pleased with the results. Now I just need my dang front fender flares. Pics are here..... http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/treyscool1/album?.dir=/af8d

  13. I have always read everywhere to fit 33's you need a 3" suspension lift and a 3" body lift...
  14. The truck runs fine with the top of the snorkel pointed down? If that's the case I will make something similiar then....

  21. My local junkyards wanted $100...got em on ebay for $25.....got em today..woohoo!! Now all I have to do is wait on the new engine to be put in.....
  22. Yeah we tried to manually get it to turn over but it wasn't happening. There was a loud clunk. I am getting another engine for $650 and installed for $350, plus hoses, belts, etc. We will also replace the water pump, oil pump, thermostat, timing belt etc....I should be able to get away under $1500. Plus this new(er) engine has fewer miles than my old one....All and all everything is turning out ok.
  23. OK and the verdict is.....drum roll please... The motor is locked up. I met the guy thats gonna be putting in the new motor (helluva a nice guy, he builds offroaders and races them) and we pulled the plugs (they were soaked) no luck. No geysers. I was hoping so much when I turned that key. Oh well, he said he should have it done by next week and will install all new everything that everyone has suggested on this thread. Thanks for everyone's opinions and advice. Hope to be on the trails again soon! Trey
