  1. Ok, as I raise the BS flag and go running around the house. Everyone always tells people to use the search when they ask a simple question. Quite honestly the search function on this forum sucks! I have been looking for a post from a few months ago about 35's and the pros and cons of running them. It was titled "35's bigger" and I get dang near every post ever posted when searching.
  2. Just my opinion but I think they will fit fine.
  3. I hung before asking but being that she said single out is $195 and dual is $230, I am sure its 1 in 2 out.....True duals would probably be around $500, which still ain't too shabby....
  4. I just got a qoute from a local shop for dual exhaust. New pipes, Flowmaster 40 series Delta flow....Parts/labor $230! I think thats a pretty good deal! What do yall think?
  5. Don't be a dumbarse....I think that word is ok...hehe
  6. How about people who post on here to purposley start an argument? Can we title them "NPORA Buttpain's"? HAHA!

  8. Do yall know the real reason Michael Jackson was found not guilty?... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Because no jury in America would convict a middle aged white woman of those charges!!!
  9. Well...only 28.....and we are knocking em back as I type.....My wife is German, and we were living in Germany the past two years. Now we are back in sweet home ALABAMA...we can't get German beer...darn IT! But since I am in the Air Force we have our own liquor store on base, they sell draft beer by the gallon jug (6.99 a gallon)...just draw it yourself and take it to the register...Needless to say we have knocked out 2 gallons of Foster's and are putting a pretty good dent in a case of Heineken...Whew...good thing Mom has the baby tonight!!!! Thanks all for the Happy B day! Anyone wanna give me 33" Swamper LTB's as a present?
  10. That would be great except for the fact that I am in Alabama and that thing is in Vermont.
  11. If I could find an early 90's late 80's rover (cheap), I would jump all over it....Those things could be alot of fun...Keep the pathy of course...

    Test

    Is it working yet?
  13. Looks very nice! I will probably get the same tires, I was considering the boggers...but I think there could be problems going sideways on a hill. Again, nice ride!
  14. If you buy a head gasket set it comes with new bolts.
  15. Yeah, I sanded and painted the stock wheels. I did not want to buy new ones until I get 33's.
  16. Yeah I know, that thing is definetly standing out. I have also been thinking about the gap guards, what do yall think? The stock guards on the front left ripped off, well I kinda helped them out some to get to the steering shaft a little easier...
  17. Pics finally! Dang it, I still need front fender flares! http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/treyscool1/album?.dir=/e4d1
  18. If you need to be pushed or pulled you will need N....
  19. Yep for the safety strap...I just left mine off...I figured if the safety strap is the last thing holding the body on in an accident I am pretty much screwed anyway...LOL
  20. So, who thinks this site needs a chatroom? As some of you know I am in the military, well now I am TDY (temporary duty away from home) just for this week. I am bored sitting in a hotel room, I see there is usually 5-10 people on the site at any given time. Wouldn't it be cool if we had a chatroom to shoot the proverbial crap in?
  21. Still don't have the pics yet, I left the cord for the camera out at my Dad's (where the shop is).....But here is what I did wrong, when I was having the problems of trying to jack up the body and it was lifting the frame. There are 2 brackets holding the bumper to the frame. Well I removed the bumper from those brackets and thought I was good too go. Those brackets pass through the body towards at the front of the truck to hold the bumper. I had to go back and remove those brackets to get the body to lift. After removing those it was pretty much smooth sailing. The steering shaft was a PITA. I had to completley remove it, put it in a vice, and wack the crap out of the middle of it (where the small end goes into the big end). It eventually moved enough to reach the steering box. Another slight problem was the drivers side rear body bolt did not want to line up with the hole, the nut it screws into is concealed in the body...I had to wedge the body over with a prybar and wiggle the bolt around to get it to catch the nut (did I just say catch at nut?). Other than those small problems it was pretty much uneventful. Very easy project for anyone. I have very litte skill and was able to do it. I suggest anyone wanting a body lift to do it yourselft, you will not find a shop to do it for anything less that $500.
  22. Complete! Will post pics and the war story as soon as I find my dang camera!
  23. Yep I removed the bumper already.....BUT....I found the problem, the 2 brackets holding the bumper on are mounted to the frame and then pass through the body, I took those off and all is well. All the blocks are in, just reattaching everything, then time to relocate the bumpers and it will be done!
  24. Ok...got all the brake lines, vaccuum lines, power steering lines, safety strap, steering shaft...yadda yadda blah blah....disconnected...got all the drivers side body bolts out...attempted to jack the body up the rear went up just fine, got that block in, the front and center only lift about 1 1/2 inches and then it starts lifting the frame....I am at a loss, have searched everywhere....any suggestions?
