  1. No worries, if confined to the east coast, check the Australian thread, there are quite a few over there too, I'm sure they wouldn't mind taking you out for a run, especially Cyril, if he gets his beast on the road by then (3.8L V6 conversion in a WD21).

And what to expect, HOT HOT HOT, especially over Xmas.

yeah i hear that's your summer. so does that mean i'll see a santa in board shorts at the local mall?

  2. Wow!! I see marks on the shaft, did the bearing seize??

    B

not sure its fine now, that is a bosch pump they actually did a recall because of this, and because of that my water pump and my new radiator were free! well not completly cost me forty bucks for fluid and time.

  3. i'm not gonna lie i like my herb but you all are right i'd have to be stupid to pass on austraila.

and if i make it to the west cost i'll be sure to let you all know, can't wait to see those pathy's and some patrols in action.

  4. anybody know of anything down here that isn't a swamp? all i find is one big mud hole after the other. and i mean big i got one here in brevard thats &^%*ing huge and deep, when it rains. we call it black hole terrible place if your not lifted, and have no snorkel.

  5. so my girl friends mother just got a job in austraila working for the government on the barrier reef, she's an oceanographer. any ways we now have the option to go there for two weeks instead of o her fathers in amsterdamn. as badly as i wanna go to amsterdamn i think the austraila christmas is definitely the better call. i bring this up cause i know there are a few members on the forum that live there and i wanna know what to expect down there. will be around melbourne most of the time but will be there for two weeks so plently of time to explore. any thoughts?

  6. Possibly a faulty part. If that pump have 100's of thousands of miles on it (multiple rebuilds) it's possible the metal has stressed. Could have even exploited what originally could have been a minor flaw.

Since it's in the shop and they are going that far, are you also having them change the timing belt while they are at it? Perfect time to do it ;)

already did that one in feb, when i put this pump in, but am getting new radiator, it took a little chunk outta the old one.

  7. that literaly just happened to mine about a week ago! was on the freeway too.

time to change the water pump. Only had about 20,000 miles on it. Only thing I can think of was that I bumped it a few times when i changed my head gaskets.

had you been working on the engine at all and knocked it or anything at all?

nope, i was doing doughnuts about an hour before and then on the way home i hear a snapping sound

  8. got pics?

no and its already at the shop torn apart but i'll throw some up of the destryoed pump after i go pick it and the truck up. just thought it was kinda weird to break the way it did

  9. Here are the hats she made. ONe is a Flex-fit hat, and the other is an normal rear velcro adjustable hat.

On the hat design, I think it could loose the square border. I think it would look cleaner.

So, tell me what you think, what should change or any other ideas. Pricing will come later, but I would guess somewhere around $25 for the base T-shirt(with logo on front and back), and $20 for the base adjustable hat.

Thanks all and I hope you like it!

EDIT: The base T-shirts will not have a Pathfinder on the back! This was a demo shift only! The plan is to move the Logo up on the shirt where the truck is now.

with the hat why not lose the square border and maybe put NPORA on the bill off to one side then on the back have it say nissan pathfinder offroad association? anyways just a thought the flexfit is the nicer looking hat, my thoughts anyways. love the shirts.

  10. so this past friday the pulley attached to my water pump, the one with the fan, it snapped, and by that i mean that the metal rod that connects said pulley , and fan to the water pumps inerds snapped. any bodoy have any thoughts on why? could i have just bought a faulty part? any ways the problem should be fixed tomorrow waiting on the water pump it was on back order.

  11. Well that really depends on how far down your front end is sagging.

Most pathys came with 31x10.5R15 but over time the front end droops down and well

mine rubbed for a while.. i ended up using them for 3 years, and finally replaced with a smaller set,

but i took mine to tire shop and had them adjust everything back to stock

    basically a torsion bar lift

    awesome thanks.

i currently have 235 75 15's and wanted more clearence so i'll make sure i have them rasie the front a bit.

  12. whats the largest tire i could equip on my '95 xe and not have to lift it for clearence? most of the stuff i found points to 31x10.5x15's but i just wanna be sure before i go and pay for a set of tires that don't fit.
