  1. so we(me,the woman, the inlaws) went to phillip island and saw the tiny penguins they are cute and very tiny!! that was very cold, not so bad here at the house though. we are planning atrip down the great ocean road to see the 12 apsotles, i think thats what they're called, right after christmas. the country is beautiful, and i love vinnies, bought myself some very nice cook books from there can't wait to try them out. oh and all the OZies i've meet walking down the road are very polilte, it's a nice change from america were everybody seems to hate you as you pass them on the street, although i see many more ginger's here then i ever did at home.

  2. Why arent you coming over to Perth mate? I have a couple of weeks off, could have headed up the coast for some fun.

  4. I hollowed out the main cat (the big one) and sleeved it with a piece of exhaust pipe I bought at the local auto parts store. So essentially I have a straight pipe through. A real cheap and relatively easy modification. As a trial, you could just pull out the exhaust up to and including the cat. This would give you idea of how the power would be affected by deleting/punching out the cat, before you actually commit yourself. Obviously it probably will be obnoxiously loud, but at least you have not committed yourself to anything. Actually, now thinking about it you could do it in stages. Pull out the exhaust up to the cat and try it. Then pull out the cat itself and try it. It is possible there is a clog in the muffler or tail pipe section. I had this happen when I punched the cat (before I sleeved it) and didn't get all the pieces out. A piece got stuck in the tail pipe and block flow thus reducing my power.

(My mistake in the whole exhaust moding, was hollowing out the pre-cat. You may or may not have on of these. Look at the exhaust shortly after the 02 sensor. If there is a bulge in the exhaust then you have a pre-cat also. Why? Nobody is exactly sure why this was done on same of the later WD21s except for some emission requirement somewhere. Also, I didn't start throwing CEL until I modded the pre-cat)

notice any improvements since you did this?

  5. I use straight valvoline 30w and it even stopped leaking on to my exhaust. Runs great too. But now it's winter I may change to something else, haven't decided for sure yet.

  6. any of the juices from bolt house farms, they sell'em in publix over by the produce. good stuff, and tasty, i like the green goodness (about 8 servings of fruits and veggies) and they have a new chocolate one that's high in protein.

  7. I just bought a can of seafoam and there weren't any direction on the can, it just said what it can be added to. I poured half the can in my fuel tank and half in the oil filler.

thanks guys for the info and like it says in the quote nothing much on the can.

  8. anybody use this stuff before, heard its pretty good. not to sure how to use it, some told me to pour it into the cylinder's via the spark plugs,( pull them out add seafoam, put them back in let soak then start truck.) others said add it to the oil, and them i was told to pull a vacuum line and add it to that. not really sure what to do with it. any help would be much appreciated.
