Others I will look at will be the 4Runner, maybe the FJ Cruiser but not likley. May also look at 4 door Toyota and Nissan pickups. There has been lots of buzz on the new Grand Vitara. May be worth a look. I am concerned with the recent trend for Nissan trucks to be less than stelalr on reliability. That may mean a move to Toyota when the time comes. Yep, that is what AllMode is. Just do not shift to 4Wd Low "on the fly" or big ouch. Actualy, I do not think the computer would allow it anyway. I have never seen an XE anywhere as well. I have seen lots of SE's with the fog lights, even some Chilkoots.

Thats what I do, I use my truck for bush work so I let some smuchk in Vancouver or Victoria take the hit, then I get a nice clean, un-wheeled machine. Based on what I have read, I will be looking at an 06/07 Xterra when the time comes to replace the Pathy in a few years. Actually, I find my Chilkoot very well appointed for a bush truck. The previous owner went and spent the extra $3,000 to $3,500 for the AT and AllMode options, it has the killer BOSE stereo , and a lot of other stuff that would have been in the Q anyway. And I drive a Nissan, not an Infinity. I was never quite sure about how Nissan was expecting to market these in Canada. The Chilkoot was the “base” unit, the the XE, SE and LE. And the Q as well. Way to many versions of the same thing, I think. But the best selling import SUV in Canada

That is what I find too. So, it does not work as well in winter as it does in summer. Bad solder joint I bet. But try and find it :oops:

US slang crosses the border just fine, I have always called them rims out here in Lotus Land. FL is just jealous he did not think of these rims first. Good luck AB, as noted just check the rims (wheels for our Eastern Canada types who think the Maple Leafs are a real hockey team (ducks from Pezzy attack )) out to make sure they will hold up. And if you get them, please post some pictures.
