  1. wow... this is awesome! a definite *high five* to you. maybe when your done, you can come fix my fiat! hahahahahaha
  2. I just went through the same decision you are now... got an 02 4 runner and am going to save the pathy for beating the hell out of ( i mean having fun)in the mountains. I'll slowly build up the 4 runner to take its place when my pathfinder blows up...
  3. actually thats the new look... lmao.. I believe its called "crunchy" or something stupid like that... heres a link to a picture... http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.torquevw.com/how_to_guides/general_alloy_wheels/tyre-stretch-02.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/possible-illegal-tyre-question&usg=__8tZ0L_wTWchn5GuqyBxEn1CRfg4=&h=282&w=501&sz=28&hl=en&start=22&um=1&itbs=1&tbnid=apkov6ainT14uM:&tbnh=73&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dstretched%2Blook%2Bfor%2Bwheels%26start%3D18%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26ndsp%3D18%26tbs%3Disch:1
  4. FYI, you can adjust the front steering stops so it will max out before rubbing. :-)
  5. fyi, not sure what part of jerzy your in.. but they can rust out real bad there.. im from north jerz and ive had many friends with these that looked ok, but were starting to bubble from the flares, once that starts its all downhill fast..so be on the lookout for that. :-)
  6. Dam.. that is sad... he lived right down the road from me and we were just gonna finally meet up, he just PM'd me the day before this happened... Super bummed.... its a beautiful stretch of road where he was.. he was probably having a blast, i know Ive let loose there many times.. i'll give him some thoughts when I pass it from now on. We should def do the Mr Jim run at manastach ridge to honor him.
  7. I bend the rod.... it has always worked for me, although some people have pinched the tube with vice-grips to make more pressure in them. as far as the struts working then not.. was the temp very diff outside? i could see that affecting them and making them stiff, then not.
  8. yea, i gave mine a gentle whack with the back side of my ax... but ive done it with gentle strength too. hahahaha just bend them a tiny bit..
  9. for the struts that hold up the hatch, i just bend mine a tiny bit when they are fully open, the added friction of the slightly bent tube makes them like new. Ive never had to buy a set on any car once i figured that trick out.
  10. i wouldn't put a spare tire in it tho.. that mesh looks real lite duty. good price tho!
  11. yea, i kinda figured.. looked similar online.. oh well, I thought maybe there would be a new option for the "rare" pathfinder sunroof shade....
  12. do the xterra covers/ sunroof glass fit our pathfinders? I was looking at an xterra online for sale and the sunroof looks to be the same, with the same cover setup. Im convinced that the xterra is the real new pathfinder... the new ones are some other thing..
  13. Nice rig man! Yup, up her in WA rust is pretty non existent... unless its a beach area. 70k mi... dude.. you got one hell of a good truck to invest in... if i had that many miles i would be dumping the mods into it..
  14. Dam! just put some chewing gum in it... ;-)
