I get that clicking noise when I step on the brake. Its probably releasing the shifter so it can shift out of park. I never heard mine before either, until a few days ago. You probably only notice it cause you finally heard it. If you don't "try" and hear for it, you won't hear it. Don't let it bother you and you won't be so irritated.

My e-brake light or hand brake light, seems to stay on after being disengaged. I tried pulling it up and letting it back down, but it seems to only work some of the time. And when it does shut off, it seems like a jerk when I accelerate or a bumb on the road can trigger it to light back up again. Anyone have a solution or have the problem occur with their rigs. It just started a week ago.

My dad owned a 96 and the light lit up. Mine on the other hand hasn't lit up since. Maybe I need to go below E. I rarely go below 1/4 tank though.
