  1. Sierra Vista! Score! we should go out behind the police station some time and show the jeeps that are always there what nissan can do! Yay someone from down here joined wahoo!!!! Technically i live in Hereford. If you've never really used it offroad there's a little trail right by my house that goes up a mountain thats a fun little thing i do when im bored that you might like, thats what my pictures are of.

  2. I love that "fix" you did for it! redneck engineering is amazing! I just glued a little peice of really hard cardboard to my door to press my door dinger button thing in more so the thing wont go off when im driving down the road anymore!

  3. Yeah. to bad i didn't more about this stuff before, but thats one of the reasons i got the vehicle, to play with it and learn! Hopefully he can go get the other parts. thanks for the replys.

  4. Ok so I got this set of manual hubs with 27 splines for the 89 but the splines are in a completely different spot than my auto hubs. Am i missing something? can i take stuff out of the auto one that will go into the manual one or something?

as you can see the middle of the manual one is empty and the splines that are in it are bigger, they also move towards you as you turn it from free to lock and in lock you can push them down into a possition. Are these even the right hubs? They came off a hardbody.

  5. Actually it is very easy to get your license and then purchase one. Not worth it to bring it to the US though, as the ATF and State Department are a pain in the ass, and the only way you can bring one down now is to have paperwork from an event in the US stating that you will be attending it. You also have to apply 3 months in advance to the ATF to bring your gun(s) and get authorization for a certain time period when you will be bringing it down. You cannot just bring a gun into the US without a good reason as the US government sees everyone who is not a US citizen as a possible terrorist. As I said before, it is not worth it. Just rent one at the range, or borrow one from a friend while at the range.

Good luck on the trip. Sounds like you are having fun!

 Hope you're having fun though. If you decided to go along the border through Arizona i'd go shooting with you :bounce:

  6. If you brought some guns, you did say shoot right?, :ar15::jig: Be careful going through CA, I know AZ you wont have any problems. I just know CA has some weird laws with transportation of firearms and i'd hate to see you get in trouble from a normal traffic stop and being from out of country with guns not storred the proper way. Also in AZ the guns shouldn't be a problem but make sure you have your identification, and proof of whatever they do between the can/us border, with the sb 1070...

  7. I got the bushings at a little local parts place that carries/is affiliated with car quest (i think is the company), just went in and they had them, so you never know where you could just go pick them up.

  8. What i had mechanics tell me was, with the engine off, try to grab the fan and turn it with your hand, it should turn without a problem, mine was pretty much stuck, and made a horrible squealing noise as the belts were pulling on stuff, so i got a new one from napa and put it on myself, really easy to do, and now i can turn it with my hand. I can't help you with the a/c though i know nothing about it.

  9. 1500 bucks for those pos wheels? Really? Thats just freaking idiotic! Wonder how much they'd want without the stupid "vent" thingys or ugly blue wipers?
