  1. Yea i know my dad and i are gonna do it next week. Just wanted to see if there was any sign of it goin bad. Im gonna do the full shabang too Water pump and all. Heard to many stories about changin the belt then the water ppump goin bad a little after. But the water pump is easy stuff.

  5. Ive got 140K miles on my car. I need to change my timing belt cause i dont think it has been done by the previous owner. I was just wondering if there any signs that is bad?
  6. Well i think that might work. But remember you have to lift the engin back up. so if you drop the sub frame 2inches you got lift the engine 2. keeps the tranny and driveshaft in line. Just use the idea and go with it man. tell me if it works an ill be right behing you on it
  7. Thats what i thought. I just call it a sub frame drop. Yea its custom job (i wish i knew how to weld). You have to drop the sub frame then lift the engine back up. Then say goodbye to cv problems
  8. Some people do use the stock wheels. Its not recomended for 31s though. I would go ahead and drop 120 bucks on some new wheels (us wheels or rock crawlers)

  10. Yea 4wheelparts still has the recovery kit on sale for like 50. Its a good deal im gonna go with it.
  11. Im right beside you row. I think my want list is like 3000 dollars for stuff. But when you 600 a month for car insurance and car payment its doent help.
  12. 4 wheel parts has them for 10 bucks. I think were talkin about the same thing. Its the reciever tow hook. They also have the reciever shackle for 38.

  14. Yea thats were i looked to attch some didnt really know what they were , i need fab up a bumper and put some on it.
  15. I have seen some with the lift that kept there fenders on. I dont think theyll rip off. You should be ok with the fenders.
  16. Ok so i wanna put some hooks in the back. Is there any place to put them that is pretty sturdy. I want them so i could getpulled out from behind if i get stuck on a skinny trail. Also if i go with a brush guard can i keep the tow hooks that i have on the front? <Justin>
  17. You could fit 32's with the lift. There is goin to be a little bit of trimmin involved though.

  20. Take a shop towel and wipe it see if it comes off. You never know could be some mud or some nasty gunk buildin up cause ive never heard of bump stops on the axle. But i might just be blowin smoke out my @$$ :oops:
  21. 100K is too easy for a path to do. Gotta have the 300K club. something a little more difficult :idea:
  22. I got a 96 with 140K so im in the club if there is one.
