No, not yet any way... it was to dark tonight and Im too depressed. Might have some up by Thursday though.

Ok well the inevitable has happened. I wrecked my 97 se. Stopping by to see some friends after work I was leaving the bowling alley talking to my girl friend and looked down for a sec. I look up and the front end of my patthy kissed a chevy maibu in the doors right when I hit the breaks. Thank God it was a low speed impact and no one was hurt. But enough to rearange my front end some what and sent glass and the passenger window of the chevy into the air. My brush guard took the worst, worping it into twisted metal and is dead, smashed into the front end. I need a front bumper, passenger light assembly( I have the black grille), for sure. Other things are my passenger fender is dented a little and my hood has a few dents, that im going to leave it for now.... All in all it was not too bad but the malibu had to have the passenger door pryed open by the local fire department. I drove my baby to a friends house and it will sit untill I get to look at it Thursday in the day light. If any one can please help me with a bumper and head light it would be greatly appreciated... Right now I am just tring to get over the shock of it all.... Im just glad I did not dammage more than I did and no one was hurt. But the worst of all is I started back school today, I have a restricted license and was not supposed to be visiting friends but going straight home... The police officer was very kind and realised that I will endure enough suffing from this accident( car repair, insurance) and decided not to take me to jail, nice man but now I cannot drive any where. Anyway what im tring to say guys is HELP ME!!!!!

My 97 does it also. When I start it up it does it for about 5 sec. and when I get on it between 3k and 5k rpms it is very noticable.

Well it is time to fix all my suspension woes. I have the common swaying with my pathy and its driving me nuts. I took it to a tire shop my brother works at and had it looked at. Not only am I going to need the trailing arm bushings and shocks and struts, but my cv boots are busted (new cv axels? ) and wheel barings are bad. I know this will cost me a pretty penny and dont not have an extra vehicle to drive or the time to fix it myself, so I am going to have the tire shop do it. Can anyone PLEASE HELP me with parts, telling me where to get them, or get them cheaply? :help: I want to put Rancho RXS shocks in the rear, but dont not know what struts I want to run.... In the future I will run a two inch lift. All the help will be appreciative. Oh and to top it all off, this great news comes during my finals week. pssd.

Any one ever though of a sas for a R50? Would be bad a$$.

Well I guess two inches is better than stock... Oh well . Cannot wait to see the L&P lift, just hope the price isnt to high.... Im sure ill be able to find out about it asap on the forums. Anyway perciate it. By the way your Pathfinder kicks a$$ :cool2:

Some one tell me the biggest lift available for my 97. Cant seam to find anything over 3 inches, and from pics I have seen the front end sits signifacntly lower than the rear. If this is the biggest lift, would some type of spacer even the truck out? Please educate me -study-

I have 31x10.50 bfgs stock.... They rub when turned all the way... I'd say lift it or do some major trimming. BTW what tire is that?

By the way nice Pathfinder big johnson. Looks just like mine , wish I had a 5 speed though.... this is the first auto I have ever owned, cant say I done enjoy being able to sit back and relax though. Ill post some pics as soon as I get some up.

31x10.50 BFG AT K/O's on my stock 97 SE... darn good tires and they look so good. I have minor rubbing when really tight turns come in. By the way nice XJ, I had a black two door.. 3inch and 31's. Drowneded it in a mud hole at three in the morning and had to sleep in it, with no heat, in the middle of January -thnkboutit- . Sat so long in the water it messed a mile long list of parts up.

I was wondering the same about my 97 SE.

Also anyone know where I could get some reasonably priced to cheap shocks and struts online or another place. Also looked at the katzkin leather seats :cool2: any body know the prices.

Thanks for the advise guys. So overall how much do you think the bushings would cost? On a limited budget right now because college. I am pretty knowladgeable about working on cars, but is there some thing a professional would have to do that I couldnt do in my driveway?

Ok guys hopefully you will be able to help me out here. When I'm driving my 97', which i just recently bought , it will sway side to side, and very violently on the interstate and some times around town . My guess is the bushings on the sway bars are toast or my shocks and struts have all but given completely out. If you guys can help me I will really appreaciate it. Take it away experts........... Also anyone know where I can get some beige leather seats? Some moron decided to use my carpet and cloth seats as an ash tray before my purchase Anyway new here love the site keep up the good work.

My name is Matt and I just bought a 97 Pathfinder.... So far I love it. The only thing I don't love is how limited they are when lifting comes to mind. I would love it lift my Pathfinder(33's!), even though I will rarely take it off-road. I only say this because when I go off road I like to tear stuff up and have so far destoried two Dodge Ramchargers(this was very hard to do), a Jeep Cherokee(not as hard), and a mini van my mom used to have a couple years back( dont ask about the van) . But since my Pathfinder is a 4x4 it will happen, already did the first day I got it. All I can say is I love my Pathfinder and the fact it has a sun roof makes it even better. Anyway glad to be a member here, talk to ya'll soon.
