I am looking for a "switched" wire to attach a wiring harness to, i am supposed to find a wire that is "switched" and clamp on this harness that will not interupt the power flow. so i decided on using the 12v lighter wires to clmap in to but the problem is there are 2 wires a green one and a black one so I clamp on to both and got no power so i tried just the green and got nothing then jsut the black and got nothing, now the wired are both chewed up from the harness and the lighter now does not work, I will get this fixed but I need to find a wire that is swtiched and is around the area of the AC/Stereo, does anyone know where there is a switched wire I can clamp the harness on? I have aready ruined 2 wires. thank you

I am looking to lift my 2002 PF LE, I was wondering if any of you know where I can find a lift kit, I am willing to do whatever is necessary, what I mean is i am not sure how many kinds of lifts there are out there I just want one, can someone please help guide me int he right direction as how to find a lift for my baby, i am too tall for her as she is now, I want to step up in to my truck, all coments wanted thank you

Thank you so much you are amazing, but i jsut have 2 more questions when you say to tap in to a power source i am not sure what to do with the 2 wires (male and female) where do i plug those? or attach them to? I am jsut not sure what to do with the wires for the 12v power terminal, also what is a "fuse tap"? i can see the wire for the cigarette lighter but i have no idea how it can connect to the "male and female" wires. ALSO where can i connect the ground? can i connect it to any screw, or do i need to attach it to a specific part of the car? thank you again for your help so far

First Off Thank you both for your input, I looked at the fuses and could not identify one that is linked to the dashboard lights. so I unscrewed the cluster panel and I found little bulbs that are screwed in just like the tail-lights, just a simple twist and they pop out, i tested the bulb and it was good so i clean teh connectors on the bulb and screwed it back in, all fixed!! now to tackle my FM modulator for the XM, the instuctions are soo confusing, but if i need help i will come back here thanks again

First Off Hello Everyone!!! This is my first post here and I am wondering if soemone could possibly help me, I got a 2002 Pathfinder LE, with every possible option, and I have run in to a problem, the entire right side of the dash cluster stop lighting up at night, most importantly the tach. and engine temp. I was wondering if someone here could help me diagnose the problem, could it be a fuse? or is it the bulb? ALSO i am not sure about this one but maybe one of you with an '02 or '03 could tell me if the PRND21 lights up with the headlights on, i forget if it ever did light up. if so then i need to know how to fix that too, If I have to replace a bulb on the dash would you recomend i do it myself or take it in to a dealership? I am not very informed on testing fuses and stuff like that but you give me a stereo and a sub to wire I can hide those wires with the best of them. so please help me, thank you! JON
