I have lived in CA for 2 years now but I still have my cluster from Canada, so its in KMs and I have recently been doing alot of off-roading but the maps I use have accurate mileage turn by turn and it is hard to follow in KMs does anyone know where I can buy a new cluster? It would be nice to see my speed in MPH rather than KM/H also does anyone know where I can buy replacement bulbs for the cluster

I have No past experience doing anything with cars, it was one of my first mods, once you remove that back panel and put the key in the whole and turn it to understand how the locking mechanism works you will find it really really easy there are so many pre-drilled holes back there and you should not hvae too much trouble, the only tricky thing was getting enough tension on the metal string on the solenoid. either than that id say 3 or 4 out of 10 on diffuculty

I don't think I will encounter much mud at all here is SoCal but i figure mud is one of the hardest things to get through when off-roading and I want the best traction I can get in any situation, maybe I don't need mud tires

ALL DONE!!!!!!! I finished it over the weekend but was just waiting to get some pictures of it all done, I think it looks good with the stock rims, but I am thinking of getting some top of the line mud tires, any recomendations? it seems this past week was "Lift Week" there were alot of lifts done recently and they all look good.

look on ebay for trunk release solenoids, i said 2 because you can install 2 one for the glass window and one for the actual trunk door

I don't mind pulling the handle, I never did mind it, but having to put my key in every time pissed me off, it got really annoying really fast. I love my glass release

I have a 2002 LE 4X4, I removed the door handle on the inside of the rear door and then removed the whole panel, then I installed a trunk release Solenoid and bolted it to one of the many holes, then I ran a wire from it trough to the front of the car and added the button in the empty space, it is hard wired to the battery so it will work if the car is not on.

did you buy the car used? cause if so it is an aftermarket switch that was installed, I have 3 switches 2 heated seat and the "AUX", my AUX is a trunk release button for my rear hatch, but when I bought the car it was just a plastic spacer to cover the hole

Hello everyone I need your help, i ordered the Deluxe Suspension Package from 4x4parts.com and the springs arrived today, the shocks will be here tommorow and I want to install it all tommorow, I got all the necessary tools but my problem is there are 4 springs 2 tall and 2 taller ones, I am wondering whch go where? do the bigger ones go in the front or back??? and the back shocks and spring installation seems easy BUT how hard is the front struts and springs to install?? this is what I got: http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/s...3e0c9e0ab77.jpg PLEASE HEKP ME!!!

ok so I bought the buy 3 get one free deal, 2 shocks, 2 struts, and 4 coils, now how do I go about installing these items, is it easy stuff for an amature or should I leave it to the pros? can someone tell me how to do it step by step, or at least direct me to a site/link for it

Hey I hope nobody gets mad that I am asking about lifts, but here it my problem I want to add a 2" or 3" lift to a 2002 LE 4x4, I also want a wilderness rack like the Garvin ones, I am wondering if anyone can reccomend a good rack that will attach to the factory roof-rack, I also would like to know which suspension lift I should buy from 4x4parts.com, there are alot of options or maybe someone knows another site that sells lifts, I also need new rotors and I was thinking a cross drilled rotor. i don't really know very much so any help would be appreciated, also do you think I could install a lift myself? or should I leave it to the pros?

can you explain exactly how to remove the drum housing? i figured this much so far.... remove all bolts holding the rim on, then remove rim and tire, and now im lost, what do I do from here? how do I get it off to degrease the rust on it?

YEAH I just finished installing a trunk release solenoid in the rear hatch, and I linked it to my aftermarket alarm remote so I can open it with the push of a button, i also have a button installed in the car, but to answer your question yes, you can add an electronic release to the rear hatch, with a trunk release solenoid

still wondering if anyone can tell me how to do it? or then how to bleed the lines, also how do I change the brake pads? is this easy?

I got a service done the other day for $300 and they told me I needed to do a transmition flush and an engine flush or some $hit, cost me $500 they called me a few hours after I left it off and told me I neededneeded to do a brake line flush, and to replace the 2 front pads, i know this can not be that hard and I know its not worth $300, is there a way I can do it myself? i have a 2002 LE and I am wondering if anyone here can tell me how to do this myself, because $500 killed my wallet but another $300 is jsut rediculous. how hard can it be?

ok so i bought a Viper 791 XV and it will be here tommorow, I am wondering how easy it really is to install because I was quoted $300 to install it, and id rather save that money, also my rear hatch window opens with the key and I was thinking of installing a trunk opener on that window, i hope this is possible, does anyone here know how to install a remote start and security system on the 2001 LE? I am hoping its really as easy as someone said it was, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I am thinking of buying a remote starter, i have a 2002 Pathfinder LE and I have about $500 to spend, can anyone tell me how easy it will be to install this item? how hard can it be? anyone with recomendations or instructions let me know thanks

The memory on my power seats does not work, it had not worked in over a year but i never cared because its my truck and only I drive it, until now, my girlfriend jsut got her license and she is 5'3 and I am 6'0 so she keeps moving the seat all close to the point where I can not even get in, so I thought it would be nice if I could program the 2 memories on the seat, it is a 2002 PF LE and it has 3 buttons, I read the manual on how to program them but it seems there is no power going to it, does anyone know if this could jsut be a fuse or is it a wiring problem? if it is a fuse do you know which one? any inofrmation or help is greatly appreciated, thank you

i am looking to convert my rear drum brakes to disc brakes, i ahve a 2002 LE, anyone got any ideas on how to do this and even if it is possible? how much would something like this cost? any comments appreicated thanks

I have never heard of it but I will be doing it this week, i never even thought of that, I am going to go to a collision centre and buy the headlights off a 2002 QX4 and I will swap them, I WILL PREVAIL!! I will let you all know how it goes, plus the coolest thing about the QX4 lights is you can adjust them up and down from inside the car.

I have the 02 LE and I have known about that for like 3 years now, also if i hold down the unlock button on the remote my windows open, driver and passenger. but the key in the i always thought was common knowledge. guess not try the remote thing and let me know
