After a long period of R&D followed by successful installs on the initial test group, who have racked up considerable mileage, hardware is starting to make its way out into the world now and we felt it was time to make a thread dedicated to our Pines to Spines SFD kit. This will be the official thread where you'll find a showcase of the rigs that are running our hardware and testimonials from them should they choose to participate in the discussion. Both 3" & 4" kits include: - 2x P2S Strut spacers - 2x engine spacers - 4x subframe spacers - 1x panhard bar drop bracket - 1x steering extension with universal joints - brand new fasteners (OEM hardware is retained) You will need to purchase or fabricate- - Longer brake lines - power steering hardline support bracket - extended sway bar end links - a missing link Note- OEM fitment skid plates will not be able to be retained. You will need to fabricate or purchase a SFD specific set. I have the AC coils and KYB 335015/16 struts, with 32x11.5x15 BFG AT TA KO2 tires and ProComp PXA7069-5883 wheels. With this combination my top out is not tolerable (still startles me from time to time) and is next up on the to do list.

We’ve got both pets in the truck for this trip and the cat wasn’t happy let me tell you. At least the dog was able to run along side lol

Ha ha - back in ‘03 when I did the White Rim Trail with my now wife, she had to get out of the truck several times, she just couldn’t handle it. It can be fairly overwhelming. Awesome place SW Utah!

This really makes me wish my Pathmaker wasn't rapidly rotting away at this point. I've been looking for a clean, low mileage R51 or Armada since I have 2 growing kids and a 65lb lap dog, but this makes me want to look for a clean R50! I checked nissanpartsdeal to see if there was some part number overlap between the models you mentioned and, yeah, the first part of the PN is the same, but the rest of it isn't, and naturally they don't offer dimensions or anything along those lines to tell you what the difference is. Short of finding a used one to have machined ahead of time, it looks like you're stuck paying the money or hoping yours isn't too chewed up and the machine shop can turn it around quickly. ground clearance and SFD are not automatic... I just want to make this myth disappear a bit... I have nothing against the product but it needs to be said... front ground clearance under the front diff : example : with 29" stock tires = 8" If you run 33'' with AC springs (2") + 1 inch spacers, your ground clearance goes to : 13" (8 + 3 (suspension) + 4"/2 (tires) If you install a 4 inch sfd with 4" inch strut spacer, you would need to put 39" tires in order to clear the same space under the diff... this is why many install the sfd + the ac springs. this combined with 35" tires will bring the ground clearance also to 13" (8 + 2 + 6"/2) Of course the rear diff clearance is totally related to tire size as it is a solid axle. If ground clearance was one of your concerns, hopefully this will help you. S.
