No Silicon overdose option?

Any heavy metal. If ya like the sounds of old Metallica guys/gals you have to check ut a relatively unknown band called Trivium. Don't bother with any album other than the newest one called "The Crusade". You won't be disappointed! Lead singer was like 17 in the early days...now around 21 I think.

Just curious...do you guys get the diesel option in your new Pathfinders over there? I can't understand why alot of vehicles that you can buy in diesel everywhere else in the world aren't offered in the US market. I was born and raised in the US and used to love my gas guzzling V8's when I was a kid. But gas was 80 cents a gallon back then too. Since moving to Australia I am really starting to love the diesel engines. Take one over a petrol/gasoline engine anyday.

All I can say is that there are too many people on this planet. The more people their is the more people that will be unhappy about one thing or another. I personally think all cars are crap quality. Name me one car that no one has ever had a bitch about? Not one car made in any country, no matter the quality is worth it. But regardless I have to drive because I can't walk to work. So I pick a car that I think may get me there and back. And most days every car I have owned has done that for me. And every car I have owned hasn't as well. I have owned Chev's, Ford, Nissan, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Opel, Mazda, Toyota...Not one of those cars hasn't failed me at least once. Sure there have been some cars I've owned that I have liked better than others. But that has been merely my personal preference. All I can say it's lets face it. No one is perfect so therefore no one will ever produce the perfect car. We'll all fight and disagree, have wars, kill each other and one day no one will be left and the cycle may or may not start over again. So sure the execs make too much money, but so do I for what I do. If we all made $5.00 a year a car may cost 1 cent. And we'd still complain it's too much. So where does it end? Well it doesn't.

Well I'm back after many months. Name says it all. Geraldton. 450 k's north of Perth. Should mention have a 1994 4 door I bought about 18 months ago? 166,000 on the clock with very little frame rust and none on the body at all. Bone stock. With rooted shocks. Due to be replaced before my SW WA fishing trip in March. I wanna lift it bt don't know if it's worth it since I only do beach work. Was looking at a West Coast suspension setup. 4 Shocks + new rear coils and 2mm thicker front torsion bars. Would give 40mm rear lift and TB Manufacturer recommends not to go higher than 30mm above standard height on the front. Cost was $1000+labour.

Hey all, Been a fair while since I've logged in here. Can't believe I remembered my password! Firstly this forum solved my problem of my 94 Pathy running like crap down to an O2 sensor. Which leads to my first question. My buddy is a mechanic and we hooked the Pathy up to the machine and couldn't find anything amiss. I also changed the plugs and fuel filter. Probably needed it anyway as I don't know how well the last owner looked after it. He also hooked a little computer up to measure the O2 sensor. He said it looked a bit weird. Said as the engine was running it should flick to showing rich and lean as the computer adjusts from the sensor input. It was basically running between normal and lean all the time. But the Pathy was running ok at that particular time. Would only run badly on the odd ocasion. Mainly when cold it seemed. Anyway seeing where the connector was for the sensor I decided to unplug it altogether after barely making it up the street one morning. Since I have unlpugged it, it has ran sweet ever since. The fuel economy seems to be even better than when I bought it and it was running fine then. So after all that here's question No 1. 1. I haven't bothered to replace the sensor. Just left it unplugged. Will I do any damage to anything by doing this? Never got the codes as I forgot to print out the instructions before taking it to him. His Snap-On code reader was acting funny the day I took it in. Question 2: Did the 94 4 Door Pathy's come with Roof Racks as an Option? Mine has roof racks and I am looking for some fishing rod holders that mount on the racks. I live on the ocean here in Western Australia and fish all the time. A 12 foot beach rod, even in 2 pieces is hard to fit inside the Pathy. I can't see any markings on my roof rack that tell me it's OEM or after market. Anyway sorry for the long story. Jeep Parts cheap in Australia? Trust me I highly modified a 97 TJ here. not cheap what-so-ever. But I might be able to find a JGC at a wrecking yard or something.

I think I remember reading here that coils from a Jeep Grand Cherokee will work in a Pathy. After my trip away I have discovered that the Pathy's suspension is definately shagged. Mines a 94 and I don't think the coils or shocks have ever been replaced. I've owned it for about 7 months now. Looking for a cheap way to get the suspension back to normal. So my question is what year JGC coils will suit my 94 Pathy?

Not my car either but mine was a mazda 1975 RX4 that I bought in 1986 and it was white. Lil thing would fly!

I always liked my 12.5's on a 8" rim. Sidewall provided more protection for the rim from rocks and I could always air down more than others running a 10" rim without worrying and losing the bead. But that is just my opinion and it wasn't on a Pathy either.
