Yeah I appreciate the warning. So in that video it looks like he just used bolts through the rack and into the rails of the Q without using conduit clamps. I can see why they came unhinged as the bolts didn't allow any movement so the weakest point had to give. With using the conduit clamps they give some play between the rack and the body flexing.
I put a thin line of silicone sealant around the edge of the lens so it wouldn't get moisture inside. And yes the license plate is highly reflective haha. Although the lights themselves are somewhat reflective when you hit them with light. With all the reflective bezels inside for the floodlight effect it helps reflect some light as well and since it's a bright color too it's pretty visible.

The sun roof opens but the glass barely taps the bar, I've been wanting to raise it just ever so slightly but just haven't found the time to do it yet. When I make the write up about it I'll give the full details obviously.
