Suspension Question

Hi all, I need new front shocks. I have the automatic suspension thingy on my 91 pathfinder SE v6 (automatic) and I don't know where I can get these special shocks. Can anyone help me with info on this?

They're just like any other shock, you can get standard replacements at most any autoparts.

I fear the day when these shocks stop functioning correctly. My wife really enjoys being able to switch the modes from hard to soft.

 

They are probably very expensive to replace, and likely a dealer only item.

 

If they ever stop working, or stop doing their job properly, a nice set of Ranchos will likely find their home in the suspension of this truck.

Try your local junkyards. They're VERY easy to take out and you can check if they leak or decompress properly right on the spot.

The adjustable shocks run $72 each, last I remember. You CAN install normal shocks, just unplug the old shocks and tape up the ends of the wiring.
