AC and Heat blower feels like an 'slight breeze'

Hey guys, I'm new here but man am I glad I got here. Yesterday the AC quit blowing and I have a 1600 mile road trip comin... (1992, 206,000 miles)

I looked over your topics and I have the same 'water flows like a stream' condensation issue, or I did until it just stopped blowing.

Any suggestions? Is is possible that the drain hose was so clogged that is burned the (blower?) moter out?

thanks

thanks for quick response... As in 'not blowing air, hot or cold..." I checked and recharged the air cond... that was blowing COLD yesterday...until around 6pm...then nothing. I can hear something kick on when I turn it on, but no air at all....

any suggestions? thanks....

does it not blow at 1 speed or at any speed?

if not at any speed, check your power supply to the blower motor. The power comes from the ignition switch to a blower relay to the blower

Sounds to me like the blower motor. I am not sure where the blower motor is on a 92 but I suggest finding it and first trying the redneck fix....hit it couple of times (not too hard) and then try the AC. I just suggest that because the blower motor was going out on a delivery van I used to drive. For awhile I would just get out pop the hood and hit the blower motor a couple of times and it would start working. You can give it a try... if it works then you know it is in the blower motor. If it does not work try maybe it is a fuse or something.

It doesn't blow at any speed... it sounds like SOMETHING is kicking on, but no air comes out at all... I checked and changed the fuses to the blower... nothing... Where is the Blower located on this pathy? I just bought this and I'm a little unfamiliar with the guts...

I should have asked, "where is the blower motor?'

thanks, because I would have gone looking for that too...

Any thoughts on if it could be the blower motor resistor? If so, how would I check if that was the problem..
